I appreciate it’s a chicken/egg situation but the more demand public transport sees, the more it will get invested it. The fewer people drive (an embarrassingly short distance in most cases) to work the better public transport can run. It’s not about stopping people using cars 1/

Established finance is a fucking scam. My credit score is allegedly better than average but locally and nation wide, but I can’t find a willing lender to offer me a single-figure-thousands sum to consolidate my debts. I’m able to pay it off in under a year but nooooo. Bastards.
Every option I’ve looked at is a loan with a 39% interest rate or a 0% credit card with a vanishingly small limit (less than 20% of what I need). The system is rigged to keep bleeding us dry, and it’s the generation that bought houses outright on working class wages doing it.
