"SOCIALISM/COMMUNISM VS CAPITALISM" HOW I SEE AND HOW TO EXPLAIN IT TO A HIGH SCHOOL OR COLLEGE STUDENT. People have traded, owned things, and tried to improve their situation for as long as we have records. Archaeological and anthropological evidence shows exchange, specialization, and ideas of possession going back thousands of years long before anyone used the word “capitalism.” Those tendencies look like basic human behavior, not a recent invention. For most of history, living standards barely rose. Historians call this the long flat part of the “hockey-stick” graph of income per person. Rulers (kings, emperors, aristocrats) extracted resources and controlled a lot of decisions. Ordinary people farmed, made goods, and traded locally, but energy limits, weak property protections, high risks of seizure, and slow scientific progress kept progress gradual. There were commercial centers (Italian cities, parts of China and the Islamic world) and real innovations, but nothing like the later surge. What changed after roughly 1800 in places that developed secure private property, competitive markets, and the ability to invest capital into better production was a sharp break. The Industrial Revolution, combined with those institutions and the scientific method, produced sustained growth in productivity, life expectancy, and technology. Decentralized decisions guided by prices and profit rewards let people try ideas, keep the gains if they worked, and abandon what didn’t. That system scaled innovation far beyond what top-down control had achieved. Centralized systems that try to replace markets with political allocation run into the same basic problems repeatedly. No central authority can know the local conditions, preferences, and changing circumstances of millions of people as well as prices and voluntary exchange do. Incentives weaken when rewards depend on political favor or quotas rather than satisfying customers. Over time this tends to produce shortages, waste, slower innovation, and declining relative performance. Early Soviet industrialization showed rapid mobilization in some sectors; later decades showed stagnation and technological lag compared with market-oriented economies. Similar patterns appeared elsewhere under comprehensive planning. The human cost was enormous. Under communist regimes in the Soviet Union, Mao’s China, Cambodia, and others, policies of forced collectivization, purges, labor camps, and induced famines killed tens of millions of people. Widely cited estimates (for example in The Black Book of Communism and democide research) put the total in the range of roughly 80–100 million excess deaths across the 20th century from these causes, though exact figures are debated among historians because of incomplete records and attribution questions. The Holodomor in Ukraine, the Great Leap Forward famine in China (often estimated around 30 million deaths), and the Khmer Rouge killings in Cambodia are among the best-documented examples. These were not incidental; they followed from the attempt to remake society and the economy by force and central decree.Nazi Germany called itself National Socialist. It kept formal private ownership of businesses but subordinated them heavily to state direction for rearmament, autarky, and racial goals—price controls, allocation of resources, suppression of independent labor, and political terror. Some economists (including Ludwig von Mises) described the result as a form of socialism in practice because owners effectively became managers under government orders. It was a nationalist, racial dictatorship, not Marxism, and it fought the Soviet Union; both systems produced mass murder on an industrial scale through different ideologies.Even the Chinese Communist Party eventually recognized the limits of pure planning. After Mao’s death, Deng Xiaoping’s reforms beginning in 1978 introduced household farming contracts, special economic zones open to trade and foreign investment, and gradual expansion of private enterprise and markets. The party kept political monopoly and a large state sector, so the system is often described as state capitalism or “socialism with Chinese characteristics.” The shift produced decades of rapid growth and large reductions in extreme poverty precisely the outcome that pure planning had failed to deliver. In short: long-standing human tendencies toward trade and ownership, combined with institutions that protect property and allow voluntary exchange, have produced the modern material world. Systems that concentrate economic decisions in a political elite have repeatedly shown weaker long-run production, slower innovation, and, in their purest 20th-century forms, catastrophic human costs. Most successful high-income countries today are mixed economies that rely primarily on markets while using government for certain public goods, regulation, and redistribution. The comparative record still favors broad private property and competitive markets over comprehensive central control.

Ya can't make this shit up!
Elissa Slotkin claims that the only reason that she's being attacked for threatening lawfare against young conservatives for serving in the Trump administration is because she's a woman. 🙄

🚨 TRUMP WARNED MACRON YEARS AGO. MACRON DIDN'T LISTEN. President Trump on the riots tearing France apart: "What's happening in France has to do with immigration. Not schools. Not anything. It's immigration. And I told president Macron, close up your borders." He says he gave Macron that warning the first time they met, back in his first term: "You're going to ruin your country. And they have ruined their country." A 143-year-old town hall burned. Cops attacked. Shops looted. This is what open borders get you. Trump called it years ago, and he's the reason America isn't next.

That’s the problem. Your “faith” requires the subjugation of anyone who doesn’t pray like you. That’s why we have a separation of church and state.

🚨 BOOM: Marine Le Pen just addressed France while Macron hid, and she said exactly what he won't. She blamed "DECADES of anarchic immigration" and decades of rioters walking away without paying for what they burned. She called Macron a "GHOSTLY" president with no authority who "has lost all contact with reality." She said the destruction came from an alliance of political wreckers, antifa groups, and thugs from the suburbs. Her fix is simple. If you BREAK it, you PAY for it. "Violence is not an opinion," she said. That is what leadership sounds like.

🚨 BOOM! President Trump just DROPPED this line on Deep State Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) threatening persecutions to scare young conservatives "Slotkin said that there should be prosecutions in order to scare people from going into politics. That's a Democrat, and that's what they do. That's all they're good at, and you know what? That's why they're getting their ASSES KICKED." 🔥🔥🔥 The response is STRENGTH, NOT WEAKNESS Slotkin should resign, but we all know she'd never do that. So she needs to be destroyed in the next election Slotkin is a former CIA officer. Imagine that.

Democrats have been dropping hints out in the open for months about what they'll do if they sweep the midterms. Now @DataRepublican has uncovered the terrifying strategy. Thousands of internal transcripts and recordings reveal the DSA's operational plan to trigger a "doomsday scenario." They want to manufacture enough street chaos, like we're seeing in France, to force Trump to use the Insurrection Act in 2027. Then, they'll cry "fascism" until they can delegitimize federal authority and hand power to Democratic governors in a color revolution. THIS IS WHAT THEY’VE ALWAYS BEEN PLANNING. Remember when Susan Rice threatened to hold corporations, law firms, and tech companies that cooperated with Trump "accountable" through subpoenas? And Sen. Elissa Slotkin recently admitted she wants to "scare" young professionals by creating "reputational risk" so nobody wants to serve in a conservative administration. They want to set the country on fire until you have no choice but to yield.

Nobody gives a shit about your political opinion @McConaughey - stfu and make a movie. That’s all we need from you.
Is Matthew McConaughey ignorant AF, or is he working for the Democratic Party? He is pushing people to vote independent in the midterms. Any votes for independent candidates just help secure wins for Democrats, and we all know that! Sir, you're either willfully ignorant and have no idea how politics works, or you are cashing a check from Democrats.

“You’re going to be caught with more than your pants down,” warns Dem power broker Susan Rice about what happens to Trump supporters when Dems take over: “Whether you’re a law firm, a university, a media entity, big corporation, big tech…there will be an accountability agenda…companies better preserve their documents, they better be ready for subpoenas.” That ought to boost the economy, eh?
Susan Rice offers a taste of what’s coming should the left retake power — promises Democrats will punish corporations and other institutions who have “taken a knee to Trump.” “It’s not going to end well for them." “If these corporations think that the Democrats, when they come back in power, are going to play by the old rules…they’ve got another thing coming." “There will be an accountability agenda." “This is not going to be an instance of forgive and forget."

🚨 UNREAL: Rioters SMASHED their way into Marseille City Hall, knocked MARIANNE to the floor, and waved PALESTINIAN flags inside. They broke down the wooden doors with security barriers, shouting "It's the Revolution, we're taking the Bastille." Marianne is the symbol of the French Republic, and they left her bust lying on the ground. The Marseille mayor admits there was ONE riot police company for the entire city. This is what happens when you don't defend your own country.
