We CAN ELIMINATE PROPERTY TAXES in Texas! The plan I've proposed is replacing all property taxes, and state level taxes (including ending the franchise tax, BPP tax, and other state level taxes) with a Sales tax on all non-cost of living purchases. This expands the tax base to cover $7.1 Trillion in transactions aht occur in the state of Texas, reducing the sales tax rate to 3.25%. This results in real savings that, for the average Texas household, sums up to over $7,000 a year! South Dallas County deserves more than campaign promises. You deserve a representative who’s already putting in the work. 💪🇺🇸 I’m Will Campbell, your Republican candidate for Texas House District 109, and I’ve already authored 30 proposed bills in response to what YOU have told me matters most. Here are a few examples: 🏛️ Hold local government accountable — Give YOU the power to demand that local officials follow the laws that restrict government, not your rights. 💧⚡ Hold data centers accountable — Require them to pay for their own infrastructure, conserve our water, and produce more power than they consume. 🚔🔒 Support first responders AND protect your privacy — Give first responders technology to help keep the public safe, while requiring a warrant to access the information it collects. 🚰 Bring water to Sand Branch — Finally deliver action for a community that deserves this basic necessity. From Cedar Hill to Seagoville and across South Dallas County, your priorities should drive the work in Austin. 🗳️ Early voting starts TODAY, October 19, and runs through October 30. Election Day is November 3. Vote Will Campbell for Texas House District 109. Let’s Get Work Done. Keep Texas Strong. 🇺🇸 You can learn more about my campaign and positions on the issues on my campaign website here: willcampbellfortexas.com #Texas #txlege #cedarhilltx #seagovilletx #desototx #lancastertx #glennheightstx #hutchinstx #Txdistrict109 #combinetx #wilmertx #ferristx #grandprairietx #midterms2026 #election2026 #dallastx #HD109 #GOTV

📚 Does spending more money automatically produce better school ratings? Does a larger district? Does higher average teacher pay? Texas’s own public education records point to a more complicated answer. I reviewed statewide 2023–24 data covering 1,187 Texas school systems, alongside a 10-year review of district funding, teacher salary, enrollment, and accountability patterns. The evidence shows that per-student funding, average teacher pay, and district size each had little relationship with a district’s A–F rating when considered on their own. 💰 More money alone did not equal higher ratings. Districts with the most funding per student were not automatically the highest-rated districts. 👩‍🏫 Higher average teacher pay alone did not equal higher ratings. Districts paying the highest average salaries were rated A or B about as often as districts paying the least. 🏫 District size alone did not decide results. Texas districts of every size earned both high and low grades. 📊 Student economic disadvantage had the strongest relationship with district ratings. But that does not mean circumstances determine a child’s future—or that Texas should accept poor outcomes as inevitable. It means we must be honest about what the data does and does not show. 🔎 The most important clue may be found inside districts themselves. In 2023–24, 38% of traditional districts with at least five letter-graded campuses had both an A campus and a D or F campus. That is a reminder that district-wide averages can hide major differences in leadership, instructional practice, resource use, teacher deployment, and campus-level accountability. The evidence does not prove that a particular governance reform will work. It does show that Texas should stop treating across-the-board funding increases, salary increases, or district consolidation as automatic solutions. Parents deserve clear campus-level information and education decisions that are closer to the students, families, teachers, and communities affected by them. I received these as well. I am signed up to receive texts from Talarico’s campaign so I can monitor what they are sending people in my district. Is that how such a group got my number to text this to?
Dear @HarrisCountyAO Abbie Kamin, I received not one, but TWO UNSOLICITED text messages yesterday. The messages are PRO-TRANSEXUAL. • I am made UNCOMFORTABLE by them. • They violate my RELIGIOUS BELIEFS • They are counter to the teachings of my Christian FAITH • Again, they were UNSOLICITED. It appears that several other Harris County citizens also received these. I respectfully request that you: • Immediately launch an investigation, • File whatever injunction you need to file to put a stop to these, and • Seek the maximum possible penalty for this vile action. Regards, Robert Choate Advocate for Responsive and Responsible Local Government

If you believe things like this: you don’t understand humanity. It is important to purchase assets that will earn you passive income. That will never change. But suggesting humans won’t have work to do for which they’ll be compensated for their labor is foolish. AI will continue to increase human productive capacity and bring skills to people who could not perform them on their own. But it will not replace humanity. To claim otherwise means you fail to grasp how AI will be used in the future, and the only path it has to be sustained as a real asset moving into the future. Centralized AI is not the future. Decentralized, personalized, and per person AI tools are.
Elon Musk The remaining time is at most 3 years. During this period, it's still possible to make money through "human labor." But after that, Most jobs that have been paid salaries until now will become automated. The business of earning money will end. The "meaning of paying money to humans" will disappear. This system that's been going on for the last 200 years👇 "If you lend us your time for 40 years, we'll pay you a salary" This will end... Work will end In other words, history's largest-scale "money movement" will take place. So, what's the situation now? 👉Some people have realized it and taken action 👉Many people are "waiting until it's explicitly stated in the news" This "time gap between realizations" is everything. So, what needs to be done in these 3 years? Very Simple👇 "Transform your own time into an asset that machines cannot take away" Specifically, the following👇 • Rare digital assets like Bitcoin • Real assets like land or energy • Computers or infrastructure • Connections with people (network) • The power to produce food or things necessary for life What even is a salary??? "Just for having lent your own time" If the value of that time, becomes cheaper and superior with machines... - That value will suddenly collapse In the end, the only thing left will be this 👇 "What you own (assets)" In these 3 years👇 Those who can transform from "a salaried person" to "an asset-owning person" In 2035-2036 will be the "people who saw the future." After that👇 • Salaries won't increase They'll eventually become irrelevant The only thing left is one👇 "Who owns what" The door of opportunity is open right now. But it's closing faster than everyone thinks.

What if a Texas student can prove they are ready to move forward—yet is forced to stay on the same track simply because of age? The Texas High School Equivalency and Early College Access Act would give qualified Texas students a clearer path to demonstrate readiness, earn a state high school equivalency certificate, and pursue the next step in their education on their own timeline. This proposal would: - Allow eligible Texas students age 13 and older to take the state high school equivalency examination without being required to withdraw from school or obtain parental consent just to test. - Provide free preparation, testing, retesting, required materials, and an initial certificate for eligible Texas residents. - Require accessible weekly testing opportunities through school districts and public colleges, with online preparation available statewide. - Require prompt issuance of the Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency when a student meets the standard. - Treat the certificate the same as a high school diploma for public-college admissions purposes, while allowing colleges to keep their regular academic admissions standards. - Prohibit public colleges and universities from adding extra course requirements just because an applicant earned an equivalency certificate rather than a traditional diploma. - Preserve parents’ role in consenting to college enrollment and financial obligations for minors. - Expand practical online college pathways so qualified young Texans can begin higher education from home when an in-person setting is not necessary. - Keep participation voluntary: students who earn the certificate are no longer required to continue attending school, but may remain enrolled through the end of the school year if they choose and meet local enrollment rules. This is not about lowering standards. It is about creating one clear, accountable statewide standard and letting students who meet it move forward. Every student learns differently, matures differently, and may be ready for the next challenge at a different time. Texas should recognize demonstrated achievement, protect family choice, and make sure education opens doors instead of holding capable students back. **Protecting Families From Abuse** is a five-bill legislative plan to strengthen Texas’s response to family violence while protecting the constitutional rights of every person involved—including victims, children, witnesses, first responders, and the wrongfully accused. (Created with Recommendations provided by Dr. Báez For Congress) Too often, family-violence cases break down because critical evidence is not documented or preserved early; protective orders are not transmitted, entered, served, or enforced quickly enough; victims lack the resources to safely leave an abusive situation; and the public has no clear way to understand why cases are dismissed or where the system is failing. This plan is built on a simple principle: Texas can protect families more effectively **without sacrificing due process**. The proposed legislation would: - **Build stronger cases from reliable evidence** by improving early documentation, body-camera practices, photographs, 911 and dispatch-record preservation, follow-up investigation, and evidence retention. - **Require transparent reporting of case outcomes** so Texas can distinguish lawful dismissals from recurring preventable failures—without creating prosecution quotas or assuming every dismissal is improper. - **Make protective orders more enforceable** through faster transmission, database entry, service efforts, verification, and documented enforcement procedures. - **Focus heightened supervision on demonstrated danger**, including repeat conduct and violations of active protective orders, while requiring individualized hearings, legal representation, written findings, periodic review, and safeguards against punishment for technical errors or inability to pay. - **Give survivors practical ways to reach safety** through family-safety leave, emergency housing assistance, lock changes, relocation support, independent legal services, and protection from abuse-related eviction or rental-history penalties. - **Hold government accountable for clear duties**—such as preserving evidence or entering an issued protective order—while preserving legitimate judicial, prosecutorial, medical, and emergency-response discretion. - **Fund implementation responsibly** through targeted grants, technology, regional advocate services, evidence systems, training, protective-order support, and transparent reporting. Just as important, this plan does **not** presume guilt from an accusation, arrest, protective order, or risk assessment. It does not force victims to participate in prosecution. It does not establish automatic GPS monitoring. It does not create a mandatory “no-drop” prosecution rule. And it does not turn ordinary mistakes or protected good-faith professional judgment into automatic personal liability. The goal is accountability with fairness: preserve the evidence, enforce valid court orders, support families trying to get safe, identify repeat and high-risk conduct through lawful process, and ensure that Texans who are wrongfully accused retain the due-process protections our Constitution requires. Texas families deserve laws that are strong enough to confront abuse, careful enough to protect the innocent, and transparent enough for the public to see whether government is doing its job. Punish the crime. Treat the cause. Protect the public. When a diagnosed mental illness or addiction significantly contributes to a crime, punishment should do more than address what happened—it should help prevent it from happening again. That’s why I’ve drafted the Texas Behavioral Health Alternative Sentencing and Record Restoration Act. My proposal would allow carefully screened offenders to serve their sentences through court-ordered treatment and supervision, including secure or residential treatment when needed, instead of conventional jail or prison confinement. The sentence remains. The **accountability** remains. What changes is how the punishment is served. Here’s what the bill would do: ✅ Address the underlying illness or addiction, with the goal of reducing repeat offenses. ✅ Protect victims through restitution requirements, safety conditions, and continued court oversight. ✅ Require unanimous approval from three qualified clinical professionals before release or step-down from secure or residential treatment—with the court or appropriate release authority retaining the final decision. ✅ Give successful first-offense participants an opportunity to earn record expunction, and eligible young people an opportunity to have their juvenile records sealed, after meeting strict requirements. ✅ Exclude serious crimes and commercial drug dealing, limit repeat eligibility, and allow return to conventional confinement when participants cannot safely remain in the program. This is proposed legislation—not current law—and it is not a free pass. It is a demanding opportunity to complete the punishment, address the problem, and build a better future. False information can spread fast—especially in the critical hours after a major incident involving law enforcement or first responders. When unverified claims and manipulated media race across social media, they can endanger officers, first responders, witnesses, families, and entire communities. That is why I have proposed the Critical-Incident Truth and First Responder Protection Act. This proposal is designed to protect the public’s right to know while requiring timely, factual, and responsible public information after critical incidents. It creates safeguards against knowingly spreading false information intended to provoke violence or obstruct emergency response, protects the integrity of investigations, supports transparency, and helps prevent communities from being torn apart by rumors and false narratives. This is not about hiding the truth or shielding wrongdoing. It is about ensuring Texans receive accurate information, protecting the men and women who respond when our communities are in crisis, and holding everyone accountable through facts, evidence, due process, and transparency. Texas families deserve guardianship laws that protect their loved ones without stripping away their voice, family relationships, property, or dignity. The Texas Family-First Guardianship Accountability Act puts families first by strengthening due process, requiring meaningful medical review, protecting a person’s right to choose trusted family and advocates, improving court oversight, and creating real accountability when a guardian or court-appointed professional fails to act in the ward’s best interest. Had these protections been in place, the situation involving Peggy Hill could have been prevented before it escalated: family participation and notice would have been strengthened, restrictive intervention would face greater scrutiny, and the person at the center of the case would have clearer rights to challenge harmful decisions. The Act also gives families practical tools to seek review, correct misconduct, protect assets, and restore accountability when guardianship is being misused. This is about protecting vulnerable Texans while keeping loving families involved, informed, and empowered. Artificial intelligence is becoming a powerful tool in everyday life—but a tool should never become an excuse for someone to avoid responsibility when it harms a Texan. The **Texas Artificial Intelligence Accountability Act** establishes a clear principle: **people and companies remain responsible for the AI systems they create, deploy, control, or use.** AI is not a legal person, cannot bear moral responsibility, and should not be used as a scapegoat when unlawful conduct causes real harm. This bill is designed to protect Texans while preserving lawful innovation and legitimate uses of technology. It will: - Hold individuals accountable when they knowingly use AI to commit unlawful acts, including fraud, harassment, threats, theft, deception, or other harmful conduct. - Hold companies accountable when their substantial control, reckless deployment, or failures to maintain reasonable safeguards materially contribute to unauthorized harmful conduct. - Preserve a Texan’s right to seek compensation when AI-assisted wrongdoing causes real injury, property loss, identity harm, or other legally recognized damages. - Require preservation of relevant evidence when serious AI-related incidents occur, so victims can identify what happened and pursue justice. - Create clear avenues for investigation, pre-suit discovery, civil claims, and public enforcement when appropriate. - Encourage responsible safeguards, incident response, and accountability without treating ordinary lawful technology use as wrongdoing. - Protect lawful speech and creative expression by focusing on unlawful conduct and material external harm—not merely on content displayed privately to a user. - Make clear that technology companies cannot simply say, “the AI did it,” when a system they designed, operated, or materially controlled is used in a way that causes foreseeable harm. This is not about banning AI, punishing lawful innovation, or pretending machines are people. It is about ensuring that Texans have the same basic protections when harm is carried out with advanced technology as they do when harm is carried out through any other tool. The Texas Artificial Intelligence Accountability Act works alongside my **Protecting Truth and Identity Act**, which protects Texans from unauthorized use of their identity, likeness, voice, image, and other personal digital property. Together, these proposals protect both sides of the problem: ownership and control over a person’s identity, and accountability when AI is used to cause harm. I’m proud to introduce the **Texas Local Accountability and State-Law Compliance Act**—a practical proposal to enforce parental rights, protect children, and ensure local governments follow clear Texas law. This bill is designed to: - Require local governments to comply with Texas laws that protect parental rights and children. - Create a clear state-level accountability process when a city or local official adopts or enforces policies that conflict with state law. - Give parents and affected Texans a meaningful path to report violations and seek review. - Establish consequences for officials or entities that knowingly refuse to comply after notice and due process. - Protect families from being forced to navigate conflicting local rules when Texas law already provides clear safeguards. Texas parents should not lose their rights based on their ZIP code. Families in Cedar Hill, Lancaster, DeSoto, Glenn Heights, Wilmer, Hutchins, Combine, Ferris, Seagoville, and across House District 109 deserve local government that respects state law, honors parental authority, and remains accountable to the people it serves. Watch this video for an introduction to the bill, why it is needed, and how it would strengthen accountability while protecting children and families. Texas law should protect both public safety and the constitutional rights of innocent Texans. I am proposing the **Texas Public Surveillance Technology Privacy, Security, and Accountability Act** to establish clear, enforceable safeguards for technologies such as automated license plate readers, public-camera networks, facial-recognition systems, and related surveillance tools. This bill does **not** take effective tools away from law enforcement. It sets responsible rules so these tools are used to solve crimes—not to enable unchecked tracking, misuse, or abuse. **Key protections include:** - Requires clear public approval, written policies, and transparency before agencies deploy covered surveillance technology - Limits data collection and retention so innocent Texans are not indefinitely tracked - Requires documented law-enforcement purposes, access controls, audit logs, and regular compliance reviews - Protects churches, schools, medical facilities, political activity, and other sensitive locations from unjustified surveillance - Requires verification and human judgment before automated alerts or biometric leads are used for enforcement action - Establishes stronger rules for facial recognition, including warrants and independent corroboration - Requires cybersecurity safeguards, encryption, breach notification, and responsible vendor accountability - Preserves targeted, real-time use to investigate serious crimes, locate stolen vehicles, respond to emergencies, and protect our communities - Creates meaningful consequences for intentional misuse, unauthorized access, stalking, and unlawful disclosure. Texas can lead by proving that public safety and personal liberty are not competing values. We can give peace officers effective tools to catch criminals while ensuring Texans are not treated like suspects simply because they drive, worship, seek medical care, attend a meeting, or go about daily life. No first responder should face a coverage gap because the cancer they develop is more common in women. The **Equal Cancer Protections for Female First Responders Act** is designed to ensure Texas firefighters and EMTs receive fairer presumptive-cancer protections, while building the long-term research Texas needs to better prevent occupational disease. Texas asks its first responders to step into dangerous conditions for the rest of us. This proposal strengthens the state’s commitment to stand behind them—especially when the health risks of the job are discovered years after service. **Key provisions:** - Ensures the Chapter 607 cancer presumption applies without regard to a firefighter’s or EMT’s sex, or whether a covered cancer predominantly affects one sex. - Adds female-specific cancers—including breast, cervical, ovarian, uterine/endometrial, fallopian-tube, vaginal, vulvar, and primary peritoneal cancers—to the statutory coverage list. - Modernizes coverage by adding leukemia, mesothelioma, basal cell carcinoma, and other cancers supported by occupational-health concerns. - Creates a limited three-year period after service for discovery of a covered cancer. - Allows eligible first responders with certain previously denied claims to request reprocessing under the updated law. - Establishes the Texas First Responder Health Research Program to study exposures, illness, prevention, screening, equipment, decontamination, behavioral health, and long-term outcomes across Texas’ first-responder professions. - Protects individual privacy by requiring coded data, secure linkage controls, informed consent for voluntary direct research, and limits on employer or insurer access to personal research information. - Supports practical prevention: better protective equipment, training, screening, decontamination, station design, and other measures that can keep responders healthy and ready to serve.
