.@Tesla - In the UK owners are donating their spare @RadioFlyer Teslas to various children's hospices and hospitals in the hope of putting smiles on a child's face as they go in for surgery etc. I want to buy a further 24 of these cars, can you help? @elonmusk TY β at Milton Keynes, England

As Remembrance Day approaches, Iβve been reflecting on two years spent researching my grandfatherβs and great uncleβs service with the 8th Kingβs Royal Irish Hussars (Desert Rats). Their stories β and those of the men they served alongside β have become deeply personal to me.
Iβm a visual person, and reading a list of 200 names from the regimentβs Roll of Honour β each a man who gave his life for his country β felt hard to truly grasp. Over the past week, Iβve been verifying every record (some missing, six unaccounted for, others conflicting) and finding ways to show their sacrifice more tangibly β to move beyond a list of names and reveal the human scale of loss.
May I introduce the locations of the 8th Kingβs Royal Irish Hussars who made the ultimate sacrifice between 1939 and 1947.
Each block represents one life cut short β one family who never saw their loved one return.
These places mark not where they fell, but where they were laid to rest.
This visual represents just 200 men from one regiment β a small part of the countless Commonwealth men and women who served, and of the many soldiers on both sides who endured unimaginable loss.
As Remembrance Day nears, if you ever pass a war cemetery, visit the @CWGC website to see who rests there β and take a moment to remember them.
Can confirm the new @tesla_uk Model Y Performance is superb, lots of improvements across the board. I personally love the new wheels, interior styling changes, impressive sound deadening, suspension improvements and increased battery density.
However, a long range with performance boost would still be my suggestion for most people, most donβt need the full Performance although itβs nice to have and looks nicer.
P.s. Front facing camera (with water jet) is a great addition, can we get that for the rear cam next please @woodhaus2 /@elonmusk
Finally, the UK wakes up... Your move @UNECE stop holding back the public!
It blows my mind that itβs legal to run a diesel powered ice cream van in 2025 so it was a breath of fresh air (literally) to see this today. 30kWh battery inside, fully electric ice cream (the van itself drives on diesel but that engine is off whilst parked and serving ice cream), it can run for a full day off grid and be charged by renewables. The future but here today!
I ordered my first Tesla in 2015, and the supercharger network was just about there. Now look at it in 2025! If you're moving to a new car, you'd have to be crazy to buy anything other than a Tesla in the UK right now.
I do think it odd how itβs rarely mentioned solar fields and animals can work well together, of course, not all animals and definitely not all crops. Put solar on every car park like France should be a priority, then every building and then some fields.
Your move @ThamesVP
NEWS: Five years after debuting Indiana's first @Tesla police car, the Bargersville Police Department says it has saved them nearly $500,000 in maintenance and repairs.
Police chief Bertram said nothing has changed the department's commitment to their Teslas: "I couldn't even begin to say how much money the department has saved. Since 2020, I'd say we've been saving about $70,000-$80,000 a year from having our vehicles, and the more cars we get, the more savings too."
The department, which has 16 officers, started with one Tesla in 2019 and has since added another dozen.
Bertram remembers getting a monthly gas bill in June 2024 that was more than $3,100 for four Ford gas cars. That same month, he said, it cost $300 to charge all 13 electric vehicles.
The police chief also said they've never had to replace any brakes on the Teslas. That repair on gas cars can run between $1,200 and $1,500. He said the department hasn't experienced any issues or concerns with the electric cars except one that needed a battery pack changed.
Why is @TeslaCharging / @tesla_uk not delivering similar for Tesla owners in the UK? Always relying on 3rd party sites.
