It’s possible to make money in a lot of ways, some more unsavoury than others.
Trying to make money by riding narratives (vs focusing on actual value creation) is fundamentally exploitative and zero sum.
The question matters in so far as you care about the kind of world you want to help create.

Can DeFi protocol teams please start putting risk sections into their docs for LPs/Depositors?
Self-reporting risks for depositors should be the standard.
1. Where does the yield come from?
2. What are the potential scenarios where a depositor could lose funds?
3. What are protocol-specific risks vs crypto/general risks?
Transparency > Regulation

I recently spoke with a Tier 1 project that raised close to nine figures.
After wasting over a year of due diligence with Binance, they finally received a listing offer.
Binance asked for 15% of their total token supply.
Imagine paying $50–$100M just for a CEX listing.
Not only is this unaffordable for projects, but these tokens are also the biggest reason for bleeding charts.
Something has to change.

It’s a story about private space companies vs government agencies
It’s not being widely praised/celebrated because it demonstrates the abject superiority of the former over the latter, and that’s a hard thing to confront for generations who grew up thinking government was the correct (or only) operator of such ambitions.

An extremely under rated property that blockchains are accelerating is verifiability.
Crypto and blockchains are playing a significant role in accelerating the verifiability of distributed systems in a way that no other industry is.
For example, the whole idea behind zk-proofs is to efficiently verify the integrity of complex computation without making any assumptions about the data or computational process itself.
With the rise of AI content and internet agents, it will become increasingly clear why verifiability is a crucial property that we need to project on the internet.
