Dear friends, colleagues, and followers. I am streamlining my social focus. From here forward I'll be concentrating on Instagram. It suits what I am doing the best. I won't be monitoring Twitter any more. I'd love to see you on IG. LINKTR.EE/MargiPrideaux
Gutted by what is happening inside the Twitter community. The trolls and climate deniers are back. Previously I was just stepping back. Now I am leaving. No interest in feeding the hate. To stay connected, find me on linktr.ee/margiprideaux

Net zero commitments can't be a mere public relations exercise if we want to win the fight against climate change.
We must have zero tolerance for greenwashing.
The report from my Net-Zero Expert Group will help us move to the net-zero future we need: un.org/en/climatechange/high…
We can’t rely on politicians to protect us from climate catastrophe. Communities must act to protect their future. Read my latest article for @openDemocracy | #climatechaos #climatecollapse #lossanddamage #COP27 #climateemergency #nonfictionbooks | opendemocracy.net/en/cop27-c…
Words have power. Woven with intent, they move mountains and souls; spark change or quell fires. Today, I have received a review that has me soaring, and dreaming, and typing with renewed furry. | #amwriting #climatechaos #climatecollapse #writing | wildpolitics.co/words-have-p…
BOOK REVIEW: Living Water, by José Truda Palazzo, Jr. | This wonderful heart-filled book, gives a global perspective on how communities can use marine wildlife without taking them from the sea. In bookstores in January. | stormbirdpress.com/book/livi… | #ecotourism #wildlifetourism

Here in Lismore, we are pretty annoyed by the BOM plans to rebrand, seemingly to increase their credibility. Why isn’t the BOM just focussing on BEING THE BOM & using the money to improve their tools to predict weather events. BE THE BOM BE THE BOM BE THE BOM #nswpol #BeTheBOM
Today is an important, quiet milestone. After the wildfires, wonderful souls, led by @nicolasentrup at @shiftingvalues crowdfunded for me to write FIRE. Today I can send them my #gratitude inside a signed #book. #amwriting #nonfiction #climatechaos #appreciation | Link in bio.
Enter the FIRE #goodreadsgiveaway | Apocalyptic wildfires, killer heat domes, catastrophic rain bombs, lethal floods, deadly droughts, violent sandstorms. The time for hollow words and targets and plans is over. | goodreads.com/giveaway/show/…
