The native prairie grasslands also store carbon and need help. It may not be as sexy as a tree several hundred years old but the biodiversity is there as well.

It's tragic to witness anti-livestock activists assuming that pasture and hayland could be used for food production. Most often this land can't produce food crops and is contributing to food production in the most sustainable way possible. Livestock production is sustainable.
Well, so far, July is the only month in 2022 in which I have not worn a toque. To be fair, today was mostly because it was so effing windy I couldn't keep my ball cap on. But also, it wasn't especially warm 💁♀️

The #cdnangus fraternity is sad to learn of Brian Good’s passing. Also known as Mr Angus, he was our longest-serving employee when he retired in 2021. He seemed to know everyone and always had time for cup of coffee and a chat. He will be greatly missed. bit.ly/3B49pzG
Stimulus packages stimulate only inflation. Utter & complete foolishness & reckless spending continues by our Fed Govt.
Instead of dumping cash into programs, perhaps ditch the carbon tax & step out of the way of industry (esp oil & gas)? That will actually stimulate the economy
How about getting taxation rates in general under control and leaving hard earned money in our communities?
How about ceasing all Government borrowing? As I'm certain no sane person will be pleased with whomever the lender turns out to be.
There are 10 smarter moves to be made each time our current government makes one.

It is now legal to possess (and consume) heroin, cocaine and fentanyl in British Columbia, but still illegal for unvaccinated Canadians to board a plane.
This country is losing its grip on reality.
17 years ago I became a mom and had no idea what I was doing. I still don't know what I'm doing but somehow this beauty is turning out pretty fantastic ❤️ #timespeeds

Just a reminder that my dad's cows sell tomorrow listed as the Estate of Ellis Edge. Have a look. They are a good group.
These are dad's cows. A nice group, in great shape, sound and productive. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand or someone starting out. The TEAM rep is Lee Irvine, please contact for more info.
