There's so much good stuff we need to build: Housing, Schools, Vehicles and Transit Infrastructure. But data centers are sucking up all the available capital investment and crowding out everything else.
It's time to reevaluate our national priorities.

If you like Pokémon, perhaps I can introduce you to another turn-based RPG with switching out, deep stat analysis, field conditions, and a whole host of oddly named and shaped little guys to choose as your comfort character. That's right, it's Baseball.
First, Piker's connection to El-Sayed was supposed to cost him the primary. Then the small margin of victory supposedly proved he couldn't win the general. Now he's polling better, and the goalposts have moved again.
Why? As I wrote this summer, it was never just about the streamer. It was also about 2028, and the left's growing ability to go around traditional gatekeepers to get its message out. That was clear from our interviews. It's clear in the reaction to AOC's fundraiser comments.
But "moderates" essentially agree with what she said: El-Sayed's performance does have a direct effect on the potency of the "electability" argument in the 2028 primary.
That's why they've been so invested in litigating what counts as a win in the first place!

⚡️ 53 U.S. senators voted to block a resolution that would have forced the State Department to report on the killings of American citizens by Israeli settlers and soldiers in the occupied West Bank.
The privileged resolution, led by Sens. Chris Van Hollen, Tim Kaine and Bernie Sanders, invoked Section 502B of the Foreign Assistance Act. It would have required a report within 30 days on:
➤ Investigations into the killings of U.S. citizens by settlers or Israeli forces
➤ The human rights situation in the West Bank, specifically the detention of Palestinian children
If the administration failed to deliver the report, most U.S. security assistance to Israel would have been cut off, according to the sponsors.
The resolution notes nine Americans have been killed in the West Bank since 2022 and none have received accountability or justice from either the Israeli or U.S. government.
BREAKING: John Fetterman is the lone Democratic senator to vote AGAINST Sen. Chris Van Hollen’s resolution to require the Department of State to report to Congress on Israel’s humanitarian abuses and killings of Americans in the West Bank.
Sen. Rand Paul is the only Republican who joined Democrats in voting Yes.
The motion thus failed 47-53, but this is a seismic shift in the Senate regarding U.S.-Israel relations.

These companies are burning through cash to develop a technology they’re designing to replace us and expect us to pick up the tab when their stocks crash because they still haven’t figured out how to turn a profit.
Say it with me: NO BAIL OUTS FOR BIG TECH!
Reuters just released a sneak peak of Anthropic financials, showing the company reported a net loss of $42 billion in 2025 - and this is before it started losing market share to dirt cheap open source models
Anyone still wondering why the company is threatening to end humanity unless the government shuts down their competition?

MacCallum: How concerned are you about the socialist part of the equation that we are seeing with El-Sayed and with AOC?
Dingell: I hate labels. What do you call me? I'm one of the leaders of medicare for all. My father-in-law was one of the authors of social security and got called a communist at the time. Do you think there is any senior right now that would call social security communism?

⭕️ National Democratic consultants running Troy Jackson's Senate campaign have pushed him to soften his messaging on Gaza and avoid questions about Israel, New York Magazine reports.
Rebecca Traister reports that out-of-state advisers and "consultants, some connected to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and national party leaders," have discouraged open Q&As and sought to limit Jackson's opportunities to discuss Gaza, despite his previously unequivocal support for a total arms embargo and his description of Israel's assault as genocide.
Internal campaign guidance obtained by the magazine instructs Jackson, when asked about genocide, to say: "No matter what you're comfortable calling it, I think we can all agree this is senseless violence."
At a September town hall, Jackson spoke of people suffering on "both sides" and said Gaza and Israel both "deserve to be there, be protected." The mood in the room "deflated like a balloon" after the "word salad" response, the report says, and drew visible disapproval from some attendees.
The campaign told New York Magazine his positions have not changed. Jackson is headlining a New York fundraiser this week co-hosted by Henry Beck, a former Maine state treasurer who traveled to Israel on an AIPAC-affiliated trip, Drop Site reported. Asked whether the big-ticket fundraiser co-hosted by an AIPAC-aligned Democrat represented a moderation of his position on Gaza, the campaign avoided a direct response.
A spokesperson told Drop Site on Monday that Jackson "has described Israel's assault on Gaza as a genocide," framing the label in the past tense, and that he "opposes U.S. taxpayer-funded military aid to Israel." The campaign did not reaffirm his earlier call for a total arms embargo.
A labor source who has known Jackson for years told New York Magazine that his shift "feels fake, like he's being compelled to say things he doesn't fully believe by people who hold the resources he believes he needs to win."
🔗 NY Mag story in reply. Drop Site’s earlier report is quoted below.
AIPAC-aligned Democrat Henry Beck is hosting a big ticket fundraiser in New York City for Troy Jackson's Senate Campaign this week. Jackson will headline the pro-Israel host's event, according to a copy of an invitation obtained by Drop Site’s @nathantbernad.
The fundraiser host, Beck, a former state treasurer, has been a leading pro-Israel advocate in Maine, having recently moved to NYC to work for an asset management firm. In January 2024, he traveled to Israel to meet with IDF soldiers as part of a 10-person delegation organized by the American Israel Education Foundation, AIPAC’s arm which funds trips to Israel.
While State Treasurer, Beck released a controversial statement from the Treasurer's office on the one-year anniversary of October 7 on the importance of “maintain[ing] our important relationship with the people of Israel,” while declining to mention any of Israel’s war crimes. At the time of Beck's one-year anniversary statement, the United Nations reported that Israeli attacks had killed over 41,600 Palestinians following the October 7 attack. Women and children accounted for at least half of the death toll.
Asked for comment, the Jackson campaign did not directly address what the fundraiser means as it pertains to Jackson’s commitment to confronting Israel’s genocide. Jackson campaign spokesperson Cheyenne Gallivan told Drop Site in a statement: “Troy opposes U.S. taxpayer-funded military aid to Israel, has described Israel’s assault on Gaza as a genocide, and has pledged to reject money from AIPAC.”
