I’ll take a shot at answering one of these good questions. These poor young people are not dying for "no reason". They’re dying because Vladimir Putin's Russia invaded Ukraine and Ukrainians don’t want to be murdered. I hope this helps.
Jamen selvfølgelig

Få mennesker har bedre indsigter i Kina og Xi end Kevin Rudd. Det er altid værd at lytte til, hvad han siger.

BTW, I don't care whether it was Starlink or StarShield or whatever. I care that someone -- Trump 2.0, Musk, or whoever -- blocked Ukraine from using it to defend its own civilians from ballistic missile and drone attacks aimed at civilians. All of you people who want to split hairs and resort to legalisms in "Terms of Service" that literally no actual living humans ever read anyway to justify Putin's evil can all go straight to hell, as you probably will. WTF is wrong with you people.

定于一尊, one supreme authority, is finally quantified.
I analyzed all People's Daily articles mentioning 讲话 (speech) since 1989, and found when Xi speaks, it's usually important (重要讲话).
And he is increasingly the only important voice on the Politburo Standing Committee.

Der er grund til at være bekymret i Ukraine, EU og i særdeleshed også på Taiwan

China releases Q3 GDP tonight. In nominal terms, AI is a big part of China’s export boom. Chips and computers account for more than 40% of the recent export increase. But on a net basis, AI trade is weighing on China’s trade surplus. The surplus growth comes from vehicles and other machinery.
The chip export boom is also mostly about prices. In September, China’s chip exports rose 136% in value from a year earlier, but the number of chips rose only 1%. Most of that is memory chips, where the global shortage has driven up prices. So AI trade isn’t adding much to real export growth. If net exports boosted real GDP growth in Q3, it wasn’t because of AI.

Trump has now firmly allied the United States with an imperial dictatorship. Tragic, embarrassing, and not in Americas national interest.
Thankfully, the US is still a democracy, and not a monarchy.
Hopefully that fact will allow us as country to change these imprudent policies.

EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk came to Donald Trump with the plan to throttle Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s Starshield satellite internet network, sources have told the Telegraph.
The tech billionaire made the proposal during the US President’s row with Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian oil refineries.
‘The reality is that they were both in it,’ a senior source said of Musk’s and Trump’s involvement.
But after a night of carnage in Kyiv caused by the slowdown, Musk was alarmed about the possibility of adverse consumer reaction in Europe.
The SpaceX boss then proceeded to tweet, blaming the US administration, and ultimately, President Trump for authorising the slowdown.
‘He tweeted out that he was innocent and that it was the US administration that did it,’ the source said.
Replying to @MadsC007
