Saying the Mets might have to get "creative" because of top-heavy payroll in 2027...let's get back to basics first
Steve Cohen on the Mets future:
“2027 could be tougher. We have to wait on who opts in and opts out, we could be close to $300 million before anything else. When I look at 27’ I get concerned, it’s going to be a weird year. This is where I look to my FO to be creative.”

Steve Cohen openly admitting that there was a problem between Juan Soto and Francisco Lindor last year was...something
Steve Cohen confirmed to the @nypostsports that Juan Soto and Francisco Lindor did NOT get along last season, but the problems have since been resolved.
“I am told and believe strongly that these guys are getting along much better. And so, I just don’t see that as an issue anymore.”
Juan Soto outdid himself with this quote
Juan Soto on his relationship with Francisco Lindor, via @WillSammon:
"There were no issues last year, at all. We didn’t have any beef or anything. Our relationship is getting better because it takes time ... When you meet a girl, you don’t start kissing her right away."
"Steve Cohen is a guy that, I feel, is remarkably likable and authentic. But he needed to hire a PR person here, and he certainly could have afforded it."
Steve Cohen's New York Post interview didn't land with Mets fans:
