Once she’s satisfied with his response she’s back to smiling and her attention on the TV . “ /You/ stop disappearing, then . ” she picked up a handful of his pop corn and brought them to her mouth . “ I missed you too . ”

The comment earns him a look from Cass . One where she’d turn to face him with one of her brows raised . Almost as if she were saying ‘ Excuse me ? ’ It went without saying , if he’d be able to read her .

Aww . . . She’d fight Steph though !

“ Food run time . ” Cass confirmed , marching herself to the door to find the same pair of shoes she’d just taken off . So much for staying inside , but it was for a worthy cause . “ Ready ? ”

“ I could unlock it too . ” She shrugged . A smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she settled next to him on the couch . Her hand instantly found it’s way to the popcorn .

That’s all she really needed to hear before she’s back on her feet . “ We need snacks . ” Is she suggesting a trip to the store ? Yes . Yes she is .

It’s Cass . The true master of stealth . “ Window wasn’t locked . ” she points her thumb back . The raven haired woman leaning over to take a peek at his screen .

Sneaking up on him from behind just to jump up and grab his shoulders . “ Dick ! ”

It’s hard to keep a straight face around Steph . A grin begins to surface following her explanation , “ Next time stick with the chocolate . Do you have some left ? ”

“ Tell me . ” She insists , jumping over the back of the sofa to sit across from her .
