I'm locking in a six week roadmap to get an alpha API live for saasyDB.
There's a lot of data re-architecture to do, data quality assurance, data cleaning. Even using AI to help, there's a ton of reps to get in.
It'll help me move upmarket. It'll be incredible.
If you have any interest in an unlimited API to access a database of SaaS company employee leads that aren't in other databases and most marketers do not have, let me know.
So before bed I turned on retargeting ads for Meta, to drive visitors from saasyDB to LinkedPulse.ai
Not a huge surprise, because I'm sending traffic to the direct index page, but no signups.
231 visitors, $0.01 CPC, 1.83% CTR.
This coming week I will record videos and set up VSLs, and then drive the same traffic to that.
my kids are watching some new Wonka's Golden Ticket reality show, and it's very much styled like the old movie, and everyone on it is so excited, BUT 80% OF THE KIDS ON THE OLD MOVIE DIED IN WAY SUITED TO THEIR SIN. Maybe they didn't remember the movie properly.
Friday night experiment:
Running retargeting ads but from saasyDB's pixel to LinkedPulse
It's not truly retargeting since these people haven't been on LinkedPulse's site, but it's a similar audience, so I'm curious if any of the traffic performs well, and what the CPC would be.
Meta's Ad platform's heart is in the right place, wanting to generate more variations for me, but it's just uh not there yet with the text creation.
I think if I were making a service about "propec tits" my wife might be mad.
It's insane they spent so so much money on the metaverse and then pivoted to spending a ton of money on AI and they produce text quality like this, holy shit.
But if you want to check uh real Linleed ijetrly actity, let me know, I'm your guy.
I fell quite short of my revenue goal for linkedpulse.ai this week. I was hoping to show it off more today, but didn't. I have nearly finished all the dev work I need to do for it, and then I'll have a broader asset that I can sell.
Next week's goals include retargeting ads for it from saasyDB's audience, cold email campaign, promo in slack and WhatsApp groups, LinkedIn outreach, etc.
Goals for today:
1- Lift weights!
2- Deploy some polishes to LinkedPulse: API doc cleanup, some user dashboard improvements, and an admin panel for me
3- Promote LinkedPulse on a call with a bunch of Clay/GTM pros
4- Walk 11k steps
cold email works if you have a good offer and proper targeting. and you hit the prospect at the right time.
saasyDB is a niche database focused on SaaS companies. it's very niche. people who need it love it, but even within the marketing world, only a small amount of people need that specific kind of niche database.
so cold email isn't great for it. it can have ROI, but it's just not as easy to scale up at all.
but linkedpulse.ai is way broader.
so I will start some cold email campaigns for LinkedPulse. the plan is to pull 4 job title ICP ideas and run campaigns to see which job title type responds best to the offer, and then scale the winners.

This is so embarrassing I can't believe I'm posting it. But, part of my growth is just putting myself out there.
Can't have a glowup if you start at the top...
Anyway, here's @Toadsdotio features...
Back to Job Boards after this. lol. next vid will be a real demo.
Today was a light day for me (hung out with my plumber friend because of a sink emergency!) but I:
- launched auto refill for LinkedPulse.ai by customer request
- got permission to present LinkedPulse on a call tomorrow with Clay experts (an ICP)
- did some sales for Slicey
Would you rather sell your startup to Hubspot just so they kill it and you have to work at Hubspot, or…

I worked with the founder of a big GTM whatsapp group to tease the linkedin activity tracker tool last week in there, and people submitted their LI URL and I showed them an activity intelligence report.
Now I can just follow up with all those leads and pitch them...
Two+ hours on the treadmill each day while working. 3% incline. I did this yesterday and also walked to/from lunch. 15k steps total 👀
I already have cold email infrastructure set up for saasyDB, and I can just use it to promote linkedpulse.ai so I will be doing that.
Here's how:
1. Use Prospeo to pull people with titles like "Growth engineer" etc prospeo.io/?via=stuart
2. Verify the emails with Sealch sealch.com/?ref=5467a1384d
3. Use inboxes and the sequencer from slicey.ai
4. Send cold emails!
One thing I've been doing for really easy / free marketing is just interacting with all the "what are you building, drop your startup below" posts, to share linkedpulse.ai . It's not a very niche offer (compared to saasyDB at least), so this probably is worth it for eye balls and awareness. We shall see.
And it's cool because the more you comment on these, the more the algorithm feeds them to you. so you can just get handed promo opportunities over and over.
I had set a sales goal of $500 this week for the launch of LinkedPulse.ai
Last night two people bought credits, so I'm at $40.
Today I will add in some feature requests, and start doing the real marketing, and I'll post everything I do.
Test your own profile at LinkedPulse.ai and see what it says about you

Exciting stuff over here, LinkedPulse.ai is live, so now you can either make calls by API or upload a CSV of LinkedIn prospects, and make sure they're actually active on LinkedIn before reaching out or putting them into campaigns. And I got my first paying user, my old friend @leanmaxxing
The rest of the week will be mostly marketing campaigns, so I'll tweet about that all week.
Yeehaw.
