On this day in 1904, German General Lothar von Trotha issued an extermination order against the Herero and Nama peoples in present-day Namibia. The genocide that followed killed an estimated 65,000 Herero and 10,000 Namaqua, making it the first genocide of the 20th century.

Judges who wield the power of the United States government should answer to the United States Constitution. Not a foreign power. American sovereignty comes first. We introduced a constitutional amendment requiring Members of Congress, federal judges, and Senate-confirmed officers of the United States to be natural born citizens. American courts must serve the Constitution. Period.
