Wednesday HS Summer Softball at Lincoln University. Jefferson City’s Whitni Howell begins her second year as head coach.

We are excited to announce that Morgan Werdehausen will be joining the 2026 Lady Jays Softball program as an Assistant Coach! A 2007 JCHS graduate, Morgan was a four-year varsity softball athlete that went on to attend Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, playing both softball and soccer on scholarship to then finish her collegiate softball career at Columbia College, in Columbia, Missouri. Morgan has always carried a deep love for the game and the lessons it teaches far beyond the field. She’s a mom of two, a mentor within her church’s youth program, and currently running her own small business and working as an insurance agent, but at her core, she’s someone who believes in developing confident, resilient student-athletes. Her goal is to help each player grow in skill, mindset, and character while building a culture rooted in effort, accountability, pride, and heart. Softball shaped her, and now she’s honored to accept this full-circle opportunity to give that back, one athlete at a time. Welcome home, Morgan! ❤️🖤
