Some might suggest I’m biased (and they would be right) but I’m proud to be part of this truly amazing golf course … one of the best in the North East ⛳️ Whitley Bay Golf Club

Our fabulous Greens team have our greens looking pure and playing amazingly well (hard to believe it’s January) and have been working on a huge number of course improvements over the winter. Course is shaping up well for a great 2023 season. ⛳️👏
Very cold here this morning with a light covering of snow overnight … hard to believe it looked like this earlier in the week

A great send off to a great journalist, former boss, and throughly decent man who’s gone too soon Tony Cartledge “the Cart” gave me my 1st break in broadcasting @metroradiouk #Newcastle in ‘86 and taught me so much. The flag at half mast at his beloved @WhitleyBayGC tonight
A beautiful day for golf at WBGC today with the weather more like August than almost November, the course looking great, and the greens running pure 👇
Delighted to hear you had a great day for a great cause 👏

An absolutely belting day for the Lads today, making a rare but worthwhile visit to the delightful @WhitleyBayGC supporting the annual BT Charity Day.
Top effort by Snyder-reserve @AngusWhitelaw in putting on a cracking event, raising funds for Tynemouth RNLI.
