A statement from your Labour councillors in Canterbury City Council regarding recent events:
We will always stand up to those who seek to spread hatred, division and fear.
Hi @matthewinkent & @CanterburyCCA do you agree with twice conservative candidate for local elections in Whitstable, Steve Spencer?
He seems to be accusing police of two tier policing.
There is no place for this racism in our town #Whitstable #RacismNotPatriotism

Yet more excellent publicity for Canterbury’s newly re-expanded park and ride facilities, reflecting how people really appreciate not having to drive through congestion, but still bafflingly anti-public transport nonsense from the Green Party (!). kentonline.co.uk/canterbury/…
Proud of being a member of the Labour-led administration that's re-opened the Sturry Road Park and Ride in Canterbury but council-subsidised Range Rovers is a bold new take on the Greens' so-called transport policy...

Green Party showing their true colours. Which aren’t at all Green!! 🚗 🚘 🚙 💨🔥🌍Appears they just want more congestion 🤷🏼♂️ #GreensAlwaysAbstain.

Spent the morning @WhitRiverside with their Wrapped Up Xmas Project. Whitstable Labour Cllrs donated £1000 from our community grant. 580 children from Whitstable and Herne Bay have been given a presents. All referred from local schools and social services.
At our Branch Meeting tonight many of us paid tribute to the brilliant Glenys Kinnock. So many of us had met her and knew her tireless work for the Labour movement. Here she is with our own fabulous Julia Seath @Julia_agent007 back in the early 80’s with Glenys at Greenham. RIP.

The fishermen's tree at Whitstable Harbour is once again getting us in the festive mood. Spectacular! Harbour Board Chairman, Cllr Chris Cornell, said: "It brings Christmas joy to the harbour and is a firm favourite with everyone in the town. A big thank you to the fishermen!"

Great job, @WhitstableNaomi, for standing up for your residents in #Seasalter as they are trapped in their homes from the fear of walking down unlit roads.
Naomi has asked KCC to provide street lighting for these residents.
