My Golden Retriever son: Don't worry mom, I know that won't increase my level of authority. Only make me slightly more menacing.

No one can abruptly switch between being โจdeeply profoundโจ and ๐คกdeeply silly๐คก quite like an elementary schooler ๐
I get whiplash on the daily.
Having 4 pets and a toddler means I have asked myself "Is that poop or chocolate?" far more times than I'd like to admit.
Also everything is slightly sticky.
The girl in front of me at the thrift store bought a bowl shaped like a cabbage leaf, a vintage ceramic sugar bowl, and a piece of Toile de jouy blue china. I think I found my new bestie ๐ฅน
Me: I should take things a little easy while I'm packing and moving my family of 5 to a new house.
Me 5 minutes later: *making flower-shaped sugar cubes by hand*
