Miraculous day aboard @LindbladExp! Spotted a small pod of sperm #whales, just south of the equator. The youngest one seemed curious and swam ahead of us, gulping in air & spraying out a few big bursts of breath before diving far, far below the surface of the ocean.

Landed on the tiny rock island of St. Helena & got to visit with its oldest loving resident, Jonathan—a Seychelles Tortoise believed to be almost 200 years old. Quite profound to commune with a fellow living who’s been alive for centuries. Tortoises are extraordinary @LindbladExp – at Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan Da Cunha

Incredible weather today. Despite 50 knot gusts of wind, the protected inlet of Ocean Harbour allowed our @LindbladExp group to get in a long hike in the pristine mountains of South Georgia. – at South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands
