My disabled sister has been without a working wheelchair for over 3 months. Despite constant chasing, failed engineer visits, and multiple complaints — we are still waiting. This is the reality for many vulnerable people failed by @AJMHealthcare & ignored by @PHSOmbudsman

ICB @HealthierNWL took 40 working days to defend a provider that left my sister without a wheelchair for 3+ months, then claimed everything was “within contract.” Now I’m filing FOIs. Let’s see how solid their story really is. #Accountability #ICB #DisabilityRights

After a month of silence, @PHSOmbudsman finally replied to my request to prioritise a systemic complaint backed by their own FOI data. Their response? “You’re in a queue.” No urgency. No accountability. I won’t be brushed aside. #PHSO #AJMHealthcare #SystemicFailure

No response from @PHSOmbudsman in over a month. They seem to think they can bury their head in the sand and I’ll go away. I won’t. Accountability doesn’t expire just because you stop replying. #PHSO #AJMHealthcare #DisabilityRights #OmbudsmanFailure

No reply. No acknowledgement. Nothing from @PHSOmbudsman after I raised serious systemic failures concern. Enjoy your weekend, because next week, I’m going heavy. Transparency isn't optional. #PHSO #AJMHealthcare #Accountability #FOI #GDPR

24 hours. If I don’t hear back from @PHSOmbudsman, I’ll escalate to @ICOnews and @CommonsPACAC. Not a threat, a promise. I don’t have much faith in them either. The system is broken. But if this isn’t resolved soon, I am sure it’ll end up on Panorama or Dispatches one day.

It’s not just one mistake. @PHSOmbudsman: Misused FOI exemptions Failed to assist under Section 16 Claimed public info wasn’t accessible Disclosed personal data in FOI docs That’s breaches of FOIA and GDPR. @ICOnews will be hearing from me. #PHSO #FOI #GDPR #ICO

If @PHSOmbudsman fails to respond to my email from Friday 2nd May by this coming Friday, I’ll raise a complaint with @ICOnews under Section 66 of the Data Protection Act. Disclosing personal data in FOI responses isn’t just sloppy—it’s unlawful. #PHSO #GDPR #FOI #ICO

In November 2024, @amywelchitv reported on patients waiting years for wheelchairs from NHS provider AJM Healthcare. I've since compiled extensive evidence showing systemic failures and lack of accountability. This issue demands further investigation. #AJMHealthcare #PHSO

Day 20 and no response from @PHSOmbudsman to my FOI request – despite their legal duty under the FOI Act to reply by today. If I don’t hear back, I’ll be reporting them to the @ICOnews for breaching the law. Accountability starts with transparency. #FOI #PHSO #Accountability

The cracks in the system aren’t new — they’ve been paved over for years. But for disabled people, these failures are life-altering. It took 4 months to get my sister’s wheelchair repaired. How many others are still waiting in silence? #DisabilityJustice @HealthierNWL

Even after 4 relentless months of chasing, it took pressure, complaints, and exposure just to get a basic wheelchair repair done. What about those who can’t fight back? This broken system fails the most vulnerable. We deserve better. #DisabilityJustice #Accountability #NHS

After 4 relentless months of pushing, AJM finally repaired my sister’s wheelchair. In what world is a 4-month delay acceptable for essential mobility equipment — even with constant pressure? How long would it take for those who can’t fight back? @PHSOmbudsman @HealthierNWL

Broken systems leave disabled people fighting for basic rights. We won't stay silent. Change must come. #JusticeForDisabled @DisRightsUK @DPAC_UK @PosAbilityMag @BBCDisability @EHRC @Frances_Ryan @KamranMalikIL @jowhiley @lucywebster @PippaCrerar @paulwaugh @Sophie_J_Morgan

Another day, another reminder that for many disabled people, delays, neglect, and silence are the system, not the exception. We're still waiting. Still fighting. Still unheard. @PHSOmbudsman @HealthierNWL — how many more have to suffer before someone takes responsibility?

When a disabled person is left without a working wheelchair for months, and every organisation says, “Not our responsibility”, you realise the system isn’t broken. It’s working exactly as they designed it. Silence, delay, denial. We deserve better. #DisabilityJustice #PHSO #ICB

So just to recap: AJM Healthcare – failed ICB – failed PHSO – 6+ month delay NHS England – “not our responsibility” My sister still has no working wheelchair. Not one body seems to be accountable. This is the NHS in 2025. #NHSFail @PHSOmbudsman @NHSEnglandLDN

The @HealthierNWL finally replied to my complaint about themselves, now they want 40 working days to respond. That’s nearly 2 months to answer for failing to enforce the AJM contract while disabled people suffer. How is this accountability? #DisabilityJustice #ICBFail #NHS

📢 BREAKING: “No One Cares” After months of pushing for a simple wheelchair repair, it’s clearer than ever — AJM Healthcare, the ICB, and even the Ombudsman are failing disabled people daily. When will this broken system be held to account? @PHSOmbudsman @Scope @DisRightsUK

The system meant to protect the most vulnerable is the one failing them most. Delays, denials, and deflection have become the norm. Accountability is optional. Compassion is missing. We need a system that works, not one that breaks people. #BrokenSystem #DisabilityJustice
