90% of Prediction Market weather posts are complete bullshit with fake comments. Here are the top BS post topics. 👇
1. People don't open source their winning strategies or bots on GitHub.
2. Nobody is selling you reliable winning picks for less than they could make using them. They buy them first, then they let you drive the price up - YOU are the exit liquidity.
3. Claude and Astra will not create you a profitable weather trading strategy without lots of work, input and creative thinking from you.
There are tons of ways to profit in weather trading, but like anything else with great potential, you will need to outwork your opponents.
Our goal is to give you the tools and data you need to create your own edge, which is the only real way to create long-term, reliable success.
We have completed the new resolution logic for @Polymarket temperature markets. The updated resolution logic is now available on all Wethr.net temperature dashboards and APIs.
This feature required extensive testing. One station doesn't play nice. 👇
VILK (Lucknow, India) - Multiple times during our live testing of this station, the observations which were already present on Weather.gov were altered 30-40 minutes later, at times impacting resolution. More concerning, the changes did not align with public METARs.
Real talk: If you enter weather markets expecting to make money from "picks" that hundreds of people share instead of learning how to analyze the data yourself - you're going to have a bad time.
Common sense should tell you that even if the "picks" from a paid service were reliably accurate, thin liquidity would render them mostly useless.
We released an enhancement to our observations APIs that is designed to help users avoid the risk associated with sensors that are malfunctioning, which can lead to subjective resolution.

Weather Underground is missing a SPECI Metar for KJAX at 1pm today, conveniently impacting the high temperature for the day for the KJAX market on IBKR.
@IBKR @ForecastEx
Are you guys aware of the increasing amount of issues with Weather Underground resolution?
Any exchange that continues to use WUnderground History tab for resolution is not serious about weather markets.
@IBKR @Polymarket @RobinhoodApp
There are two explanations for missing METARs on their history tab. Fraud or incompetence. Neither is acceptable for resolution.
While everyone is distracted with Polymarket weather market drama - we figured it would be a good time to release the Beta of our Nearby Stations REST API.
