As if being dragged past 240 people isn't humiliating enough, @wizzair "safety policy" is to seat all disabled people at the rear of the aircraft by the window -THE MOST DIFFICULT SEAT TO EXIT IN A EMERGENCY. Not to mention the difficulty and humiliation of being manhandled in front of passengers. @SimonCalder @NikkiFox @Tanni_GT @sophmorgTV
Hi @citizenM - apparently it was my fault my room at Tower Bridge hotel was 26 degrees despite setting the a/c to 18 degrees. Worst night ever spent in a hotel. @SimonCalder
Wife & I alighted the @TfL Jubilee Line tube at London Bridge (from Waterloo) in my wheelchair to discover lift out of action. Guard told me to re-board tube and alight at next step-free access, Canada Water. I was not only charged at CW to ride the extra 2 stops, I had to pay for bus ride back to London Bridge. I was delighted to see Geoff Holt MBE DL and his team as they set off on a journey to circumnavigate the UK coastline in a remarkable and inspiring challenge opening the water for disabled people.
My Connect to Prosper Experiment Series plays a part in their journey as Geoff and the team will be sampling and collecting microplastics along the UK coastline as part of the Suzuki Clean Ocean Project.
