A long shot perhaps, but does anyone have an example of the hand of Christopher Hatton, 1st Baron Hatton (1605–70), or know where one may be found? #TwitterHistorians

The monumental Repertory has reached the Netherlands! Eagerly awaited and finally here on my desk. Not only will it have a resounding impact on scholarship, but also on the amount of bookshelf space left to me. Just being facetious here - congratulations @WelshMSS @NLWArchives!

Teimlo’n ddiwylliedig iawn heno. Wedi bod yn Arad Goch yn agoriad arddangosfa Gareth Owen o luniau yn ymateb i Swn y Gwynt sy’n Chwythu a lansiad y llyfr cysylltiedig. Pan ddois i adref, roedd Llawysgrifiadur Daniel Huws yn fy nisgwyl ar stepan y drws!

A few months ago, a scholar from the Aberystwyth area made an exciting discovery.
He found a series of letters sent to Sir William Dethick, Garter Principal King of Arms, by Thomas Jones, better known as Twm Siôn Cati, the celebrated highwayman of Welsh legend.

Anyone know what this might be a reference to? Possibly Bernard André's Vita in Cotton MS Domitian A XVIII?
From the list compiled by John Jones of Gellilyfdy in 1611/12, then a lawyer's clerk in Ludlow, of owners of MSS.
