Love that the LBJ museum is commemorating the ninth anniversary of George Costanza visiting
#OnThisDay: Nine years ago today, comedy legend, @IJasonAlexander, stopped by the #LBJLibrary! We had a blast taking him on a tour around the museum. 📷 Jay Godwin | 11/19/2015

Just an absolutely unreal graphic showing Trump's gains in Texas-Mexico border counties since 2016. Starr County, population 65,920 and 97% Latino, shifted 75 PERCENTAGE POINTS in Trump's direction. texastribune.org/2024/11/06/…

Sorry Mr. Chairman, I cannot follow you down that road. Y’all means ALL - especially our trans siblings and kids, who have been demonized and bullied not just by Republicans, but by conservative Democratic elected officials in our legislative delegations, too.
I spoke with the chairman of the Texas Democratic Party today about yesterday’s losses. He brought up transgender rights. Here’s what he said. kut.org/2024-11-06/donald-tr… #txlege #LGBT #LGBTQ #Election2024

There are 32 contested races in Texas appeals courts. Republicans are leading in all but one. We're on track for a lot of blue-to-red flips in Houston and Dallas. #txlege

if the nyt workers are able to successfully prevent the needle from being published it will be one of the greatest achievements for organized labor since the invention of the weekend
Replying to @Nate_Cohn
As a result, I do not know whether we will be able to publish the needle. There are good reasons to bet against it, though perhaps there are scenarios where things are running super smoothly; alternately, we hit bugs at the start and there's no chance.
