#Venezuela #Oil @oavendano :Alejandro Betancourt, (Venezuelan Billionaire) through his Spanish representative, is desperately seeking to hire cheap influencers and buy pirate media to try to clean up his image and harm María Corina Machado. Crude.

Alejandro Betancourt es un delincuente común, ladrón como el solo. La justicia de Trump lo perdonó, pero de la de Venezuela no lo salva nadie.

Quick reminder of who Alejandro Betancourt is. Derwick, his company with his cousin, got power plant contracts in Venezuela in 2009 with no tender, in the middle of Chávez's electricity emergency. Transparencia Venezuela calculated about $2.9 billion in overpricing. Venezuela still has blackouts. In 2012 a Derwick company bought a castle in Toledo, El Alamín, for more than €22 million. The money came from a Derwick account in New York. According to US court documents he also bought a penthouse in the Olympic Tower on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Switzerland has been investigating him for money laundering since 2019. Spain reopened its case in June. In August 2025 Spanish police went to the castle to arrest him and he was already gone. In London he was arrested and could not leave the UK until May, when Switzerland dropped the extradition. The Swiss case is still open. In Miami he was reportedly the unnamed co-conspirator in the PDVSA case. This year the probe was closed, in June he got a US multiple-entry visa, and now he runs the company in the US-Venezuela oil deal. Never charged, and he denies everything. Even if he comes out clean, there is enough background to doubt that someone like him, in charge of a huge oil deal, will protect Venezuela's best interests. Venezuelans deserve a clean slate. So how much can lobbying and expensive lawyers clean?

What?? This crazy is now in Venezuela doing propaganda for accused money launderer Alejandro Betancourt and the chavista dictatorship … more chavismo from the ultra MAGA right 🤣🤣 what a crossover

Menos show patético y más vergüenza

A message to all international business leaders and investors looking to enter the Venezuelan market. The Venezuelan people want you in our country. We want to build a Venezuela that welcomes investment, protects property rights, guarantees the rule of law, and offers the transparency and stability businesses need to thrive. We want your investments to succeed, your businesses to grow, and your capital to generate extraordinary returns over decades of prosperity. But let us be clear: Venezuelans do not want you financing the survival of a murderous dictatorship that has spent 27 years destroying our country. A regime rejected by more than 85% of the Venezuelan people cannot offer the political legitimacy, institutional stability, or long-term legal guarantees that serious investors need. No business can build a lasting future on the shifting ground of authoritarian rule. Do not confuse a short-term gamble with a long-term investment. The prospect of quick profits may be tempting, but fortunes are built over decades, not overnight. Choose the future. Invest in the Venezuelan people. Stand on the right side of history—and on the right side of the market. Those who support Venezuela's democratic aspirations and help build the foundations of a free economy will find a people eager to welcome them, grateful for their commitment, and ready to build lasting partnerships. The opportunity is not simply to enter a market. It is to help rebuild an entire nation and participate in the extraordinary growth that a free Venezuela could unlock. Think in terms of decades, not quarters. Think about the legacy you will leave your children and grandchildren. Imagine building a successful business while helping millions of Venezuelans reclaim their freedom, their democracy, and something no financial return can ever fully replace: the chance to embrace the family members they have been separated from for years by a dictatorship that continues to destroy their lives. The Venezuelan people are ready to build a different future. We invite you to be part of it. Bring your capital, your expertise, and your ambition. Invest in Venezuela's future, not in prolonging the final days of a dying dictatorship.

MAGA trying so hard to exaggerate Trump’s success in Venezuela. Believe me when I tell you that Venezuelans are not happy at all with the status quo. You can ask any Venezuelan instead of relying on a grifter that has only been around for about a week in the country.
I’ve been in Venezuela the past few days because I wanted to see for myself the deals President Trump is making here. I expected to find a complete state of disaster and anarchy in the streets. Instead I watched videos of Paris & Milan burning to the ground. Europe is going to fuck around and lose all it’s tourism at this rate if I can take a safer trip in Caracas than in Paris…

Fuentes: reuters.com/world/europe/f… costadelsolfm.org/2026/10/7-de-c… aljazeera.com/news/longform/…

Bringing an end to Venezuela’s socialist dictatorship will be our generation’s Fall of the Berlin Wall, opening a new era of freedom and prosperity across our hemisphere. It will stand as one of President Trump’s greatest legacies, forging a free, democratic Venezuela into one of America’s strongest regional allies. We’re ready for it, Rachel! So glad we had the chance to reflect on all of this again.
Check out Part 1 of my exclusive interview with Maria Corina Machado. She says Venezuelans remain indebted to Trump for the removal of dictator Maduro, but his legacy hinges on the full liberation of her people, with free and fair elections.
