Most people will never understand the bliss of working like this
"So I came for the aesthetics, but I was blow away by the sound. I’ve been glued in front of these speakers for hours now, just listening to all the tracks I thought I knew so well. Uncovering new facets and depth in the music... That to me is HiFi." world.hey.com/dhh/what-is-hi…

From utopia to dystopia – I watched San Francisco flip in real time I absolutely loved living like this in the city. The view was insane, the rooftop, the amenities, the feeling that the future of our industry was being built right there. But during the pandemic, it all cracked. The “most progressive city in America” turned into the prettiest cage I’ve ever seen and not even the view could compensate for it. Rules that made no sense. People masked alone in cars. Alone biking in the forest? Mask up, you fool. Playgrounds taped off, skateboard parks filled with sand, “for safety”. Endless slogans, zero logic. I watched brilliant minds obey ridiculous rules, not because they all believed them, but because they were scared to question. Scared to be name-called "science deniers" or "grandma killers". Fear became a virtue Obedience became moral Propaganda became science And still to this day, most people remain stuck in the matrix convinced it was all true and necessary. And here’s the part most people don’t see about this place or choosing to ignore: While citizens were fined for walking outside, San Francisco went from pouring $200M to $850M a year to “end homelessness” (2016-2024). Meanwhile, executives at major nonprofits made $300–600k salaries, bonuses rolled out, and housing units sat empty. All while the streets filled up with needles, chaos, poop, and human suffering. But hey! At least they arranged the tent camps in perfect 6-foot grids right outside of the City Hall so the city could brag about “socially distanced homelessness”. This was not compassion, it was once again theater. All this made me realize: You can love the surface of a place: the beauty, the ambition, the dream, but if people can't think critically, have common sense or allow freedom of thought and movement, it’s not home.

"The Wall" A friend explained this social phenomenon happening in Sweden and particularly in the capital Stockholm and you genuinely can’t look at the city or people the same after you have experienced it That moment when you meet someone in public that you know… and the person instantly pretend they didn’t see you and just walks past you without saying anything. You do not exist and you will feel it especially if you were looking to say hi and start a conversation. Apparently this is because avoiding an interaction somehow feels better and socially safer than risking awkwardness. Acknowledging someone else's existence is not worth this risk. Is this what we all have become? I absolutely hate this to the core of my being and why I don't recommend anyone to live there if they want to have a good life and feel valued
