Senior judge grants leave to appeal against county court judgement. He says appeal has "a real prospect of success". No dispute @Nominet is not complying with its company articles. Around £350,000 already spent on costs by the not-for-profit company board.

We now know that @Nominet drafted the court orders that were changed after a court hearing. Their general counsel @NickWenbanSmith was at the hearing. We ask the non-execs to investigate properly what happened @rexwickham @kieren

Why were court orders that were made at a hearing later changed significantly in @Nominet's favour? Nominet's barrister was asked to draw them up. The ones written up are not the same as the ones the Judge made.

Nominet misled members after losing in court earlier this month. Instead of telling the truth, @Nominet falsely blamed the court for their own errors. Spokesman @willguyatt then wrongly denied that costs orders had been set aside.
