Mothers & Daughters, Fathers & Sons (Song by Neil Diamond) Last year, David and I discussed producing a video to this song. I have herewith finished our vision in his memory. Side note: I once told David in detail about my forever memorable experience thanking Neil Diamond in person for saving my life (via a sign I held up to him from the front row at one of his concerts at the Great Western Forum in Los Angeles, 1992, and for which he profusely thanked me in return). Neil had no idea what I had specifically come through, to have recovered from 15 years of extreme agoraphobia, and to then be standing there with him, having a spotlight shined on me in a crowd of 20,000 people, while he threw me kisses and smiles, but I’m 100% certain he understood it was profoundly monumental. David then shared with me his fond memories about Neil, from his private lunch with Neil prior to the release of Neil’s movie, THE JAZZ SINGER in 1979, to his experiences during the Camp Ronald MacDonald for Good Times Malibu charity event for children with cancer in 1984. My paths with David crossed many times in different ways throughout my lifetime before I was actually able to meet him and become his close friend 15 years ago.
