It’s now 15 months following my prostatectomy. Life is good and 90% back to normality. Just had my latest PSA test back which is undetectable. Great monitoring by the NHS in my follow up which will continue for the next two years . I’ll be posting more about the fundraising I’m going to be doing with the ultramarathon challenges this year in support of @firefighters999 and @ProstateUK . Remember talk about it , test for it and get treated

Hi folks, I’m now six months in from surgery for stage 2 prostate cancer. The tests are good and I’ve recovered well. I’m now blessed with the opportunity to resume my passion of ultra running and give something back to @ProstateUK and the firefighters charity. Please consider donating if you can. My first race is 100km Race to the King tomorrow In Sussex This is really important. There’s a GoFundMe for someone who has been through so much and is now giving back. Please consider donating and sharing to support the cause. Every bit helps! gofund.me/d6fdf45b

This week, we sadly lost our boy Bear, taken soon by cancer. So grateful for the years I’ve had with him and him being by my side through my journey

Many people think that a heart attack and cardiac arrest are the same thing, but they're two different medical emergencies requiring different treatments. Do you know the difference?

Knowledge saves lives! Countries that teach basic life support in schools have higher survival rates for sudden cardiac arrest. Did you know this CPR fact?
