Thanks for all the well wishes for recovery. @swfc fans are the greatest in football maybe in all of sport. I love you guys. Surgery next Thursday will be in a race with @LouieBarry6 to see who gets back in action at Hillsborough sooner. Hope I get back fast… but pray he gets back faster!! Up the Owls! #WAWAW

A hearty thank you to all those who’ve wished us a Happy Fourth 🇺🇸! Further thanks for embracing us & making us feel part of your community… which we do. We appreciate this more than any words can express. My ancestors came to America over 115 years ago to escape religious persecution, to give their children & their children’s children a better opportunity. They came here penniless, struggled so future generations wouldn’t have to endure the lives they were meant to. I am forever grateful and proud to be an American. At our first game at Hillsborough on May 2 when we heard the chants USA, USA it accentuated the energy, enthusiasm & love we felt on the pitch. Heartwarming ! This year’s edition of World Cup with games spread across the continent is giving fans from all over the world a greater insight into the beauty & exceptionalism of our great Country. Ok on to @swfc … our commitment to bring the fun & greatness back! Stay tuned… lots great things happening! I mean lots!

On BA flight to London on my way to see David Bruce and my friends in Sheffield. David continues to do amazing things across a very broad spectrum… executive team buildout, squad rebuild, Hillsborough safety + so much more, training grounds improvements… all geared to 1 ) improving our competitive performance on the pitch while 2) creating the most safe and enjoyable environment for you, our fans to watch, enjoy and cheer on our boys in their new kits ( more to come ). @swfc we are rebuilding off of a rich history… starts with embracing our history. We have a deep and proud heritage 159 years in the making . We only succeed if we bring back the glory ! And that’s our commitment to you, @michaelestorch , Tom Costin, David Bruce and his leadership team + me! Born in 1867… Reborn in 2026! See you all soon! Go Owls! #WAWAW Have a wonderful weekend! Best, David
