Most of Web3 was built as if trust ends at the protocol layer. It does not. As AI agents, devices, and decentralized services become more autonomous, the weakest part of the stack gets harder to ignore: the endpoint. That is where Webkey is building.

As agents move from chat to capital, identity stops being a UX layer and becomes core infrastructure. Programmable policies, bounded permissions, and non-custodial control are what make autonomous systems usable at scale. That is how agent economies become trustworthy.
Agents on @TradeBoba can autonomously trade, parse cross-chain data, and refine strategies – with programmable policies enforcing every action. Non-custodial by design. Secured by Turnkey.

Payments without identity are just faster ambiguity. As software agents begin to act, spend, and coordinate across networks, the real premium shifts to verifiable identity, scoped permissions, and auditable execution. Open rails will scale faster when trust is machine-readable
Payments on the web have long been fragmented and proprietary, shaped more by walled gardens than shared standards. Even “402: Payment Required” never became more than a concept of what web-native payments could be. x402 changed that by making web-native payments real for AI agents, APIs, and humans. If x402 is going to serve as common infrastructure for the internet, its long-term home matters too. Today, the x402 Foundation is moving under the @linuxfoundation. A standard like x402 should not live with any one company. Under the Linux Foundation, x402 can be stewarded as shared, community-governed infrastructure, with the ambition of making online value transfer as native to the internet as email.

The market is finally moving from “agents can transact” to “agents need rules.” Wallet access alone is not infrastructure. Identity, authorization, signing boundaries, and auditability are what turn agent activity into something users and institutions can actually trust.

Capital does not scale into crypto because headlines sound better. It scales when the rails become defensible. What institutions adopt is not narrative. It is workflow: monitoring, compliance, and settlement they can explain to risk committees and regulators without hesitation.
Irresponsible and misleading press articles based on anonymous sources (whether including possibly disgruntled ex-employees or otherwise) does injustice to the great work of our more than 1300 compliance staff working tirelessly to uphold global standards. Facts: 1. Binance complies and upholds global AML and applicable sanctions standards. 2. Similar to other financial institutions, we employed and relied on industry-leading 3rd party tools such as Elliptic, Chainalysis and TRM to conduct real time transaction monitoring, sanction screening, blockchain analysis etc to prevent illicit activity. These efforts enable us to identify and prevent illicit activities, and uphold AML and sanction standards 3. Where we detect possible links to sanction activities, we take a proactive approach to report them to law enforcement agencies and work with the agencies to counter such activities. This was done by our compliance team for the cases cited in the report. 4. We cooperate proactively with law enforcement agencies worldwide, sharing intelligence, responding to requests, and supporting investigations to combat financial crime. These efforts are widely recognised by law enforcement agencies globally. Just yesterday, I personally received a commendation letter from the Hong Kong Police Force for our tireless efforts to investigate and fight illicit crimes. 5. Compliance is a journey with evolving standards and the fight against illicit crimes is an never ending effort. This is especially so with the increasing sophistication by bad actors employing tools and techniques to avoid detection. We will continue our tireless efforts to fight illicit crimes and uphold global integrity

The next phase of stablecoin payments will not be won at the wallet layer alone. It will be won at the trust layer: who can sign, what can execute, which permissions hold, and how every action remains auditable. Payments are the interface. Trusted identity is the infrastructure
Replying to @WalletConnect
With WalletConnect Pay, crypto users can spend their stablecoins easily and daily. And business owners can accept stablecoin payments in a compliant way with a single integration.

Nanopayments only work at machine scale if identity, permissions, and execution are native to the flow. When agents start paying agents, the real bottleneck is not moving value. It is proving who is allowed to act, under what policy, and with what limits.
Nanopayments are not “small payments.” They’re sub-cent, high-frequency transfers, often as little as $0.000001, designed for machines, not humans. As AI agents transact autonomously, traditional rails break down. We need infrastructure built for agent-scale value exchange.

AI payments will not scale on distribution alone. Before agents can pay, they need identity, permissions, policy boundaries, and accountable execution. Payments are the visible rail. Trust infrastructure is the layer that makes agent commerce usable.
March 2026 was the month a clear pattern in AI payments emerged. Circle, Visa, Stripe, Mastercard, Google, MoonPay, Coinbase—all racing to solve the same problem: how AI agents pay. AEON has been in this from day one. The protocols like x402 and ERC-8004 are integrated. The merchant network with 50M+ merchants exists. The volume is real. This is the track. This is where we play 👇

As payments become native to the internet, trust needs to become native too. Machine-to-machine value transfer only scales when identity, permissions, and signing are built into the flow from day one. That is where the next infrastructure moat gets built.
Happy x402 Day! Cloudflare is committed to providing the secure, global infrastructure needed to turn this protocol into a fundamental pillar of how value moves across the Internet.

As agents scale, the real bottleneck is no longer automation. It is trusted access. If machines are going to act, transact, and coordinate across networks, identity has to become native to execution.
As millions of agents start to come online, the internet needs to distinguish bot armies from the agents acting on behalf of humans. Introducing AgentKit, the human layer for agentic automation. Built on World ID, the AgentKit beta unlocks human-verified automation, a new primitive for the agent economy.

Once software starts initiating requests, moving across services, and managing value on its own, access control becomes a systems problem. Payment can open the door. Identity, permissions, and auditability determine what scales.
x402 doesn't replace API keys. It solves a completely different problem. We just published a deep dive with @CoinbaseDev on why blockchain infrastructure needs both access models 🧵

AI agents won’t just need wallets. They’ll need identity, permissions, and enforceable trust boundaries. Payments scale quickly. Trust infrastructure decides whether that scale is usable.
The trillion‑dollar question isn't if AI agents will handle payments. It's whether we'll have the compliance infrastructure ready when they do. CZ says AI agents will make 1,000,000× more crypto payments than humans, using blockchains as their native rail. He's right about direction of travel, but scale without governance is a liability, not an upgrade. Traditional KYC assumes humans: static, singular, document‑based. AI agents are dynamic, forkable, and evolve in real time. That's the compliance gap. We don't just need faster payments. We need the trust layer that makes autonomous finance legally viable at scale. Are you building for a world where agents transact with verifiable trust or hoping the compliance problem solves itself? #zkMe #ComplianceIsntOptional #AIAgent #payment

As execution moves to agents, identity becomes infrastructure. Not just proving who is human, but proving which agent is authorized, under what limits, and with whose accountability attached. The winners in agent economies will be the teams that make delegation legible.

Agent commerce does not fail at intelligence. It fails at identity, permissions, and accountability. If an agent can move money but cannot prove who it represents, what it is allowed to do, and leave a clean audit trail, scale is not commerce. It is unmanaged risk.
The infrastructure for AI agents to transact is already here, but the trust layer is missing. Payers do not know who they are paying. Receivers do not know where funds come from. This is why agent commerce cannot scale yet. Here is what needs to change #AI #Payments #AgentEconomy #Web3 #Trust

x402 makes one thing clear: the web is getting payment rails for machines. But once agents can pay, the real coordination layer becomes identity, authorization, and verifiable intent. Payment is the trigger. Trusted machine execution is the larger market.
x402 lets anyone attach stablecoin payments directly to the 402 HTTP request, and it’s already surpassed 100M transactions. @brian_armstrong shares how he expects x402 to grow from here.

Risk isolation is only one layer of the stack. As onchain markets become more customizable, the real edge comes from making access, permissions, and execution boundaries just as explicit as collateral design. That is how modular finance becomes usable at scale.
Euler's EVC and Vault Kit allow for customizable, risk isolated markets that protect against contagion, along with risk parameters set at the vault level. Read more in this piece by @stablewatchHQ

Real finance does not move onchain just because throughput improves. It moves when identity, permissions, and compliance are native to the execution path. Settlement only becomes institutional-grade when access and accountability are built in from day one.
A thoughtful deep dive from @FourPillarsFP on what it actually takes to bring real finance onchain DP4 parallelism, SPNs, compliance-native architecture...these are the layers that start to matter when you move from theory to settlement Read here:👇

Customizable vaults matter because institutions do not allocate into pooled ambiguity. They allocate into structures with defined risk, clear permissions, and accountable execution. That is how onchain credit starts to look investable

Default privacy is not a feature. It’s cost control. When privacy is opt-in, users pay with friction and platforms pay with exceptions. Make it automatic at the device layer. #Privacy #FinTech #Security #Web3

Tokenization does not just create new assets. It creates new access layers. Once real-world value moves onchain, identity, permissions, and execution security stop being side issues. They become part of the market infrastructure institutions actually rely on.

Mastercard entering stablecoin infrastructure is one signal. The real shift is where value accrues next: not issuance or settlement, but trusted access, enforceable permissions, and execution across users, agents, and devices. That is where the next control layer is built.
