Here’s a short movie showing a parallelogram spanned by two vectors and a display of the magnitude of their cross product, which is updated as one vector changes.

Then if the numerical information changes, for example inside a loop, then just update p and L.text from inside that loop.

Use a label() object to display real time information on the screen. Here, s is a format string. Variable p holds the calculated number, in this case the magnitude of a cross product. L creates and displays the information.

Then you can call this function with two vectors to create a named parallelogram object. In this example, a and b have been previously defined.

Parallelograms are important in vector algebra. This function uses quad() to create a parallelogram given two vectors for its edges.
