Your current salary is not your market value a lot of candidates enter negotiations thinking I make $50k, so maybe $70k is fair wrong starting point they negotiate salary from the wrong place they look at what they earn now and just add 10–20%. But your current salary doesn't decide what the next role is worth look at the market, the responsibility and the skills you're bringing and the results you can create. don't get too excited by the huge offer $30k base, $10k bonus and $5k in tokens isn't the same as $45k guaranteed. Know what is actually guaranteed. check the bonus terms. understand token vesting and cliffs.
