Part 6/10 🧵 Privacy with an auditor key. Starknet vs. Orbinum: same shielded pool concept, different answers to who controls disclosure 👇
Replying to @Starknet
@Starknet STRK20 is built a lot like Orbinum: a note-based shielded pool. The difference is the auditor key. It can read every user’s history, and per L2BEAT one multisig can swap it instantly. - Episode #6 of Privacy Chains Decoded -

Orbinum is re-opening its Ambassador Program. We’re a small core team building a privacy L1 on Substrate, and the community is what has carried us so far. Now we want to make it official and bring in the people who’ll help us grow. 📖What ambassadors do: 1. Run and grow local Telegram communities 2. Translate guides and docs 3. Create content: Creative threads, explainers, videos 4. Help new users through the testnet and Seasonal quests 🎁What you get: Monthly ORB rewards + Special Discord Role + Closed Beta Access to Our Early-stage Products Full Read & Application Form : github.com/orbinum/ambassado…

one thing about robotics that doesn't get talked about enough is how much learning goes into the simplest actions. we see a robot pick up an object and move on, but getting to that point takes a lot more than it seems. the robot needs to learn how to handle different objects, adjust its movements, and respond when things don't go exactly as expected. that's why i think robotics data deserves more attention than it gets. building a capable model is one thing, but giving a robot the experience it needs to actually perform tasks in the real world is a different challenge altogether. this is part of what makes @axisrobotics really interesting to follow. real-world demonstrations can help robots learn from how tasks are actually performed, bringing them closer to doing useful things outside controlled environments. the goal is to get robots to a point where they can handle everyday tasks reliably, even when things don't go perfectly. imagine robots adapting to different environments and getting things done without needing every movement carefully planned in advance. there's still a long way to go, but progress starts with getting the right data and helping robots learn from the real world. I'm looking forward to seeing how axis really contributes to this field...

one of the important questions in robotics is how machines move from performing specific tasks in controlled environments to handling real-world situations. that transition depends heavily on the quality and diversity of the data used to train them. .@axisrobotics is working on this problem by building a system around collecting real-world robotic demonstrations and turning them into useful training data. every trajectory can help a model understand how an action is performed, how objects respond and what successful task completion looks like. the more useful and varied these demonstrations become, the better the foundation for training robots to handle different tasks and environments. But collecting data is only part of the challenge. the data must also be reliable, structured and useful for training. this is why i think the dataset side of axis really deserves attention. better robotic intelligence will require more than stronger models. it will also depend on the quality of the physical-world experiences those models learn from. building that data foundation at scale could be an important step toward making robots more capable outside controlled demonstrations.

🔐 Vault v7 is live on Orbinum Testnet. Your private vault now stores nothing linkable. Notes keep only blind tags and a sealed body: no spent flags, no timestamps. A stolen browser dump can't be dated or tied back to the chain. Every private transfer now lets you choose who paid: ▫️ Anonymous: the default. The recipient learns nothing. ▫️ Pseudonym: a name you pick, shown as self-chosen. ▫️ Privacy address: proven by the note itself, shown as verified. 🔹 Send privately → docs.orbinum.network/private… ⚠️ Action needed: unlock your vault and run Recover Notes once (Shielded Pool → More actions → Recover Notes). Your vault upgrades when you unlock it, and the rescan rebuilds your notes and your full Activity history. Your balance may read 0 until the scan is done. No backup needed: your notes are on chain, encrypted to you. 🔹 Recover Notes → docs.orbinum.network/private… Under the hood, the protocol and our SDKs got sharper: 🔹 Spends are unsigned: no relayer, no account tied to your nullifiers 🔹 Merkle paths are built on your device, so the node never learns which notes are yours 🔹 New notes can be spent the moment they land 🔹 Activity rebuilt: what you paid, received and unshielded, even after a restore 🔹 How the vault works → docs.orbinum.network/private… Rescan once, then pick your name. #Orbinum #Testnet #ZK #Privacy #VaultV7 #Web3 #Crypto #Blockchain #Community

getting a robot to do one job well is one thing. getting it to handle completely different tasks is where things get much harder, and that's a challenge @axisrobotics is working around. a robot might learn to handle one object really well, but that doesn't mean it can easily handle another object with a different shape, weight or texture. even small differences can change how a task needs to be approached. this is part of what makes building more versatile robots so difficult. the goal isn't simply to get a machine good at one specific job, but to develop systems that can handle a wider range of tasks without having to start from scratch every time. robotics has applications across manufacturing, logistics, agriculture and plenty of other industries, but each comes with its own demands. progress that helps make robotic systems more adaptable could have implications far beyond a single use case. there's still a long way to go, but versatility is an important part of where robotics needs to go next. the more useful these systems become across different tasks, the easier it becomes to see them taking on a wider range of work beyond specialized applications... join here 👇👇 👇 s.kaito.ai/mU44cJb

-@axisrobotics has finally shared the $axis tokenomics, so we now have a better idea of how the 1b token supply is split. a little over 61% goes to the ecosystem and contributor rewards, with 51.08% allocated to ecosystem growth and 10% for contributors. the team gets 15.2%, while private investors get 16.47% across two rounds. there’s also 6% for liquidity, 1% for the sonar community sale and 0.25% for the kaito reward pool. so, the biggest share is going toward the ecosystem, while the rest covers the team, investors, liquidity and community rewards. i’ll be watching the vesting schedule next. knowing how and when these tokens unlock will give us a better idea of what to expect as $AXIS enters circulation.

one thing i really appreciate about what @termix_ai is building is how clearly the protocol defines the process of getting work done and paid for. it comes down to four states...escrow, deliver, challenge and settle. payment is locked when a quote is accepted. the deliverable is recorded onchain, there is a window for independent evaluation and once the process is complete, funds are released and reputation is updated. every stage has a defined purpose and the outcome leaves a public record. the important part is what happens when there is a dispute. evaluation follows a defined process rather than depending on someone at termix stepping in to make the final decision. that really matters for an agent economy where people and ai agents need to work with each other without relying entirely on trust. if agents are going to handle real tasks, they need clear agreements, verifiable delivery, fair evaluation and predictable settlement. four states may sound simple, but that simplicity is what makes the system easier to understand and verify. the goal is to make trust part of the protocol, not something users have to assume...

having access to ai is one thing, but knowing how to actually use it to get work done is a different story. you can watch a demo and be impressed by what an ai agent can do, but the real test comes when you start using it for your own tasks. does it actually save you time? can you rely on it to get things done, or do you end up spending extra time fixing things yourself? these are the things i think about when looking at projects like @termix_ai . I'd like to see how it works in practice, the kind of tasks people can use it for, and whether it can genuinely make some parts of their work easier. because let's be honest, nobody needs more tools that look good on the surface but become frustrating when it's time to use them. the real value comes when something fits naturally into your workflow and gives you a reason to keep using it. ai agents have a lot of potential, but there's still a gap between what they can show in a demo and what they can consistently deliver. would be good to see how termix handles this in practice as things develop..
