Somehow sad how you can lose your money from a small mistake and lack of knowledge
I remember those days I was trying to deposit money on Jupiter Solana, and the app I was sending from said it had to be USDC on Solana
The mistake I made was copying the USDC mint address on Solana because I couldn’t find a receiving address like some wallets show
I sent the money and waited for a couple of hours, thinking it would arrive
Nothing
I did my research and tried to understand what went wrong, only to realize that I had sent my money to the wrong address
Glad the money wasn’t that huge, but it still hurt knowing I lost it over something I didn’t understand at the time
And ngl there are some things you only learn after experiencing them yourself that’s why they say experience is the best teacher lol

I think I’ve earned my place among the apes, and not because I’ve made it big in crypto.
I’ve watched tokens pump, seen my portfolio turn green, and convinced myself there was still more to come.
Sometimes it was a small win I refused to take. Other times, I watched a token do 10x and still held on because I thought it could go higher.
Then the market came back down.
And there I was, watching the gains disappear and asking myself the same question: why didn’t I take profit?
The funny thing is, it has happened more than once.
You’d think an ape would learn after the first time, but apparently, this one needed a few more lessons from the jungle.
That’s crypto, though. One minute you’re feeling like a genius, the next you’re staring at a chart in silence.
I’ve missed opportunities, held on too long, and learned some lessons the expensive way. I can’t claim to have mastered this game. I’m still figuring it out.
But when I read the @Apeshit_co lore, the idea of the old apes made sense to me.
The ones who’ve survived different cycles, watched narratives come and go, seen fortunes appear and disappear, and somehow stuck around long enough to welcome the next batch of degens into the jungle.
Not because they won every battle. They didn’t.
They’ve got stories about the ones that got away, the bags they held too long, and the mistakes they probably promised themselves they’d never repeat.
I relate to that ape.
I’m not here with a perfect trading record or a wallet full of victory stories.
I’m here with lessons, a few regrets, and the experience of knowing that the market can humble you very quickly.
Still learning. Still building. Still in the jungle.
And if there’s one thing I can say for sure, it’s this:
WE REMAIN.
