#GlitchGangInterview with @AL_san_JP You might know Al-san as the artist behind the adorable Al-san the Alpaca ☝️🤓 But she has created much more than just a cute character — there are books, a video game, and a whole little universe growing around her 😊 Talking to the person behind it all is just as lovely as discovering her world☝️ — there’s something genuinely warm and kind about her that makes you want to stay and see what she creates next 😁 Q: You're both an artist and an author. Do you have any other talents? A: Yes, I have 2 more! ① I used to be a professional dancer and dance teacher, although I quit because of bone/joint problems💃🦵 ② Alpaca and llama are spitting animals, you know. But they have never spat at me🦙 Q: If you went on a hiking trip, what piece of equipment would you most likely forget? A: I would forget Obento (Japanese style lunch box) in a fridge😂 Because I'd want to keep it chilled until the very last minute before leaving my house. Then, after tying my shoelaces, I'd realize it wasn't in my backpack, take my shoes off, and go back to get it🍱🥢 Q: What's coming next in your art or your writing? A: It would be the 2nd stage of Al-san’s video game, I think🎮 I’m cooking my 5th picture book, but it would take a bit more time. So, yeah, 2nd stage of the video game will coming next! Q: How do you unwind and relax? A: Taking a nap surrounded by the soothing scent of aromatherapy. Visiting an alpaca farm? Definitely not! Because it’s too exciting for me to unwind and relax🤭 Q: What's the meanest (or funniest) thing you've ever done to your sister? A: Whenever she moves furniture, even if it's not very heavy, she asks me to help. I often just rest my hands on it lightly and pretend to help while cheering her on with things like, "Heave-ho, heave-ho!" or "Watch your step!"😂
