State of play:
- Negotiations for @Sama’s return have hit snag over makeup of board
- @satyanadella leading the charge on discussions
- Board wants input on new board members before they walk away so they are going through potential new candidates one by one. @btaylor seems to have been cleared by all parties.
- situation is *super dynamic* & could change any minute
- Sam keeping his options open ie. returning or starting newco

Imho it'd be a huge win if @SECGov would redirect 1/10th the effort it puts into sabotaging #crypto into ending payment for oder flow in **traditional** assets. Latter travesty certainly affects more small investors by eroding price/execution quality. investopedia.com/terms/p/pay…

Why are some #bitcoiners prone to "simping for dictators?" Great question recently discussed by @gladstein and @NSmolenski on @PeterMcCormack's podcast @WhatBitcoinDid. #bitcoin whatbitcoindid.com/podcast/c…

Attending #EpicWeb3 conference online today, remote from NYC. Glad to hear speakers talking about building products and #innovating, not 10 other unpleasant (and ultimately less relevant) things. 🙃

#TCCrypto conference getting underway in Miami. Timely opening session with @cz_binance. Says he didn't know real details of pros at #ftx prior to meltdown, though "mental mathematics" gave a general sense of its competitive position vs binance.

I'll admit, I've been wrangling with how exactly to use @Twitter for some time now, even before a certain recent event. (Ahem.) The service has changed so much over the years.

Now that #Midterms2022 are behind us, I’m checking how my earlier predictions in @web3weekly about #web3 policy in the US have fared.
(This week’s newsletter sponsor @TechCrunch also has a nice offer for readers of the newsletter. Check it out!)

Boggles my mind that US regulators allowed listing of an exchange-traded fund on bitcoin *futures,* but haven't approved an ETF holding #bitcoin itself. That's like living in a state where gambling at dog tracks is legal, but there's a law against buying a dog from a pet store.

Latest @Web3Weekly newsletter is all about the writers on Blogchain posting eyewitness accounts from #Ukraine lately. Would love to see the posts keep coming, so one day they serve as a comprehensive, censorship-resistant oral history of the war. #web3 🇺🇦
