We moved our hosting to the decentralized @blockstack-based @runkodapp service and we love it! Look for an article on how to run your *own* instance of Webby shortly! @runkodapp makes it easy! Keep it decentralized!

Webby may start curating apps to provide a true #CantBeEvil list of apps, rather than some of the bad faith actors currently listed in the dapp list.

docs.blockstack.org/develop/… Some apps are clearly not principled. If your app has TOS that claims they're using Google Analytics or sending data to 3rd parties, what you have is a Windows app, not a Blockstack App. Regardless of whether they're using Blockstack auth or not.

3 more days to save your data from Webby. After that you're data is still there, just not available directly from within the Webby app. We've added a contact export to assist.

Heads up! On November 8 we will be removing the Webby Files and Contacts functions. If you have File or Contact data in Webby, save it, copy it, before then.

After that, you can still access them, however you'll need some hosts file trickery to do so. We'll continue to offer the best @Blockstack app discovery (imho) option via the Dapps tab in the app.
