I went to bed at 8:30PM last night with a migraine. Woke up at 2AM this morning with a backache. Getting old SUCKS! It just beats the alternative.
Personal achievement unlocked: I mounted the 200,000th stamp in my worldwide collection today (1840-2000). I also donated another 15 pounds of stamps to the Boy Scouts.
Today is my wife's and my 60th wedding anniversary. Never expected to live this long. Wish we both felt better. Beyond 75 is painful - too much mileage!
Proposal for Musk:
Buy 4-5k acres in Wyoming badlands.
Build "moon cities" - above- and below-ground (Boring Co).
Work out all the problems in a "safe" env. before going to moon.
Set up "X" acct, let people contribute ideas.

It would take a novel length post to explain it all. The simplest explanation I can give is back in 2015 or so, many conservatives didn't trust Trump and thought he was a hidden NY liberal so they listened to and trusted people like Bannon and other "true conservatives" to keep Trump on the straight and narrow to fulfill his promises. People like Bannon used this power to constantly counter message Trump and push MAGA in certain directions they wanted while Trump was just Trump and he showed by his actions he could be trusted. As more people saw Trump was indeed who he said he was the need for people like Bannon and other "true cons" to keep him "honest" lessened. In fact, the more people paid attention, the more they noticed it was these people who were trying to stop Trump from actually accomplishing much of his agenda while pretending to be cheerleaders for that agenda.
Moving forward, after Bannon was fired by Trump for leaking and contributing to the Wolfe anti-trump book, Bannon in his hubris decided he was the head of maga, not Trump, and has been trying to wrest the crown from Trump ever since while never really coming out full throttle against him.
It's been a good effort by Bannon, and has fooled a lot of people, but now with the epstein emails coming out many people are seeing the truth of what's been going on.
The conservative podcaster wars are basically the same fight. Certain people wish to be the force behind MAGA and cut Trump and by extention Vance away from MAGA so they pretend that Trump isnt fulfilling his promises quickly enough or well enough.
Meanwhile the vast majority of voters see Trump as the rightful head of MAGA and Vance as his successor as long as Vance doesnt screw up. Because of this the podcasters continue to lose market share/influence as most of MAGA abandons them and they are left with a hard-core gtoup of listeners forcing them to get more and more unhinged and outside the mainstream in their pronouncements. Pushing more and more people away from them. They see their influence waning and some want to push their waning influence as a sign that MAGA is fracturing.
I left out a lot, but thats the gist of the issue.
If they would have just embraced Trump and celebrated the wins he is having and came along for the ride instead of constantly trying to be top dog, they would have continued to have a lot of influence. Now most people ignore them.
Anybody live in a tiny town without a library? I need to get rid of 1000+ books, and don't want to send them to a landfill. Feel free to retweet.
The next civil war will not be fought between left or right, or between Democrats and Republicans, but between stupidity and common sense. It may include the same group, but the truth used to describe them will be different.
Any law or bill that limits the rights of the INDIVIDUAL to keep and bear arms is unConstitutional. Unfortunately, there are thousands of them on the books, and our judicial system is too gutless to get rid of them. Actions of Washington, Virginia, and Minnesota show the need.
