This November keep your eyes peeled for earthgrazers blazing across the night sky! 🌠 The Leonid meteor shower is active November 6 - 30, peaking overnight November 16 through 17, bringing fast, colorful fireballs and the occasional low-flying Earthgrazer. The first-quarter moon sets around midnight, giving dark skies for optimal viewing in the Northern Hemisphere. Find a dark spot and look up!

Have you put up your Halloween decor? The night sky will add the finishing touch. 🌕 October’s full moon, named the Hunter’s Moon, will rise on the night of Oct. 26. Its name comes from the seasonal practice of hunters relying on bright moonlight.
