Been going through @Torchpaddotfun’s public analytics, and these numbers deserve more attention. Just 15 days after launch on @RobinhoodCrypto: • 1,232 tokens launched • $27.8M in volume on launched tokens • $374.5K in fees generated • $178.4K allocated to burns • $120.4K in protocol revenue • 35.15M $TORCH burned Built around @Uniswap v4, with a multichain trading terminal that’s still in its early stages. And now they've announced a post-launch airdrop allocating 25% of net protocol revenue to users, based on their $TORCH holdings and trading activity. Rewards will be paid in ETH, with the option to claim in TORCH bought from the market. What caught my attention is that you can actually see where the fees are going. Worth checking out the dashboard yourself: app.torchpad.fun/analytics Curious to see what these numbers look like a month from now. 🔥

Not just what @RobinhoodCrypto can do for @Torchpaddotfun , but what robinhood:0x000050e18ffa3f8f7ad170eb9cef160eb3ed1111 could actually bring to Robinhood Chain. Every launch creates a new token with locked liquidity on the chain. Every new project has the potential to bring its own community. Then there’s the multichain terminal, which could introduce traders from other ecosystems to Robinhood Chain. More projects, more liquidity, more users and potentially a lot more onchain activity. And that’s before considering how much Robinhood’s tokenization plans could expand the ecosystem.

There is one project on Robinhood Chain I believe has multi-billion dollar potential. Deeper liquidity makes it easier for bigger money to enter and exit. The infrastructure builds on what came before, addressing the pain points that have held RHC back. When you connect the dots, the opportunity becomes one of the biggest plays of our life time. $TORCH | @Torchpaddotfun

gmgn @vladtenev, we are bringing a lot of builders over to @RobinhoodCrypto, many types of builders with a lot of new, innovative ideas. we are also trying to bring back a healthy crypto culture with good vibes and less PvP, and to work together instead. a lot of those I spoke to and are building on torch came over from other chains because they believe in the quality of the RHC chain and the distribution channel Robinhood brings with it. looking forward to speaking with you one day. you’ll probably just find out about us once we’ve grown more, but that’s fine. @Torchpaddotfun

on torch creators will not lose on their creator fees by having pools that bypass them. our pools are designed in such way that they by default provide the best routing which results in no losses of creator fees. this is what our dev has been explaining and working on that right now proofs in reality. if you are a dev building products or launching memes, you want to pivot to torch. dev bezos 1 - 0

I spotted robinhood:0x000050e18ffa3f8f7ad170eb9cef160eb3ed1111 on the list! whats alpha ? very is simple.. @Torchpaddotfun is a full ecosystem, not as many thinks just a launchpad. launchpad, trading terminal, bot, social, easy liquidity pools and an analytics page + more in plans and every trade across it burns robinhood:0x000050e18ffa3f8f7ad170eb9cef160eb3ed1111. fees live in the token contract so they never leak, lp is locked for good, holders get paid couple weeks old, new highs almost daily, still a tiny mcap. that’s the alpha 🔥

Been thinking about what @vladtenev is building with Robinhood Chain and where robinhood:0x000050e18ffa3f8f7ad170eb9cef160eb3ed1111 could fit into all of this. Torch’s docs already mention Robinhood Stock Tokens as possible launchpad trading pairs. If Robinhood keeps bringing more financial assets onchain, there’s going to be a lot more to trade than just crypto. And that’s where I think Torch could get really interesting. Not just the launchpad, but the multichain terminal, the trading tools and the way fees are shared with users. No partnership implied here. I’m just looking at where Robinhood is heading and what Torch is building. Feels like there’s a much bigger opportunity worth exploring.

Major update; the analytics page is now live. We now have a public analytics page, and it’s open to everyone. All of torch’s numbers, in one place, no login needed: > Volume and trades: see how much is flowing through the platform > Launches: how many tokens have been launched on torch > Fees and revenue: what the platform generates, what creators get, what holders get > Burns: every torch burn & every token that is bought back and burned, since every trade fires a burn We build in the open. you can see how torch is doing without taking our word for it, and without asking anyone. Nothing hidden, nothing to ask for. you can check how torch is doing yourself. check it out: app.torchpad.fun/analytics light the torch 🔥

the product is generating on average 30k revenue per day and hitting at minimum 10k burns a day. we believe this will only grow alongside the growth of our ecosystem. most of this flies back into the flywheel, with even more on top.

This is worth a read if you’re following $TORCH. mlog explains a problem many launchpads can face. Creator fees getting bypassed when trading moves to other liquidity pools. And more importantly, how $TORCH was designed to address it. These are the details that matter for long-term sustainability. Send it.
The community brought this screenshot to my attention yesterday, and I must say I’m happy someone took note. Before we launched, I shared quite a bit of research showing that 9/10 EVM launchpads are actively losing creator fees due to flaws in Uniswap v4 hooks - or well, factually no flaws, just wrong use case (creatorfee). With Torch, we tried to solve this through contract fees instead of hooks, and so far we’ve been proven right. What matters here is that all other launchpads and the projects luanching are more or less losing their fees after about a month-ishh. That’s the point when the coins have grown enough for providing LP to become interesting. It says something to me that this holder, who showed some pretty crazy conviction, is one of the few who actually researched this and understands it. I also know that a lot of this tech talk is yada yada for many people, which is fine. But for the sustainability of the project, these fees are absolutely necessary, if not the most important thing. I’ll try to explain it in simple words. What is happening on other EVM launchpads is pretty straightforward: > Creator fees go through a hook that sits on one LP pool. > 3rd parties create a new LP pool, with no hook or with their own. > LP and hook fees are generally 1%. > A 3rd party sets up an LP pool with a 0.9% fee (or anything lower) and adds liquidity. Gets a lot of routes > The project loses the creator fee, as the third party’s pool doesn’t have the projects hook. >The launchpad loses its share of the creator fee revenue. Revenue declines, flywheel stops. So with torch I tried to fix that on a few ways, i'll sum that up below; We moved the fee out of the pool and into the token itself. The creator fee is enforced in the token contract, not in a hook and not in a specific pool. That changes the whole picture: > The fee lives in the token, so it applies no matter which pool or router a trade goes through. > A third party can create as many new LP pools as they want. The fee still applies, because the pool never decides whether it is charged. > There is no hook for anyone to skip, so there is nothing to route around. > The fee is only enforced on the buy side, and selling is never taxed by the token. > Every pool also comes with a default 0.3% trading fee, which goes to liquidity providers. This 0.3% is a uniswap default on most pools, this encourages people to simply add to the canonical pool instead of a seperate one. It keeps the main pool attractive without it being PvP'd (pool v pool lol), so it keeps the most routes. The torch fees, from both torch and the projects launched will, forever remain and can not be bypassed in the general sense. Hope this clears up why I did it the way it is. Liquidity is king and that's why I wanted phat liquidity on torch. All this is enough reason for all builders that are looking for a long term sustainability, to come over to torch and grow alongside it including the community without being afraid of their bread being taken by 3rd parties. - mlog
