My friend @sibindibusani has published his first book - #Sizonqoba - and I had the honour of writing a foreword to his memoirs.
This book about the @MatabelFootball team and how an absurd idea led to a #WorldCup participation is a super inspiring mustread:

They have told us countless times that if we speak, if we stand up they will kill us or we will disappear. I say to you speak, stand up for one thing is certain in your life, you will die one way or the other.#WeWillConquer!

We were enjoying the escort it felt special to the whole team. We enjoyed that moment even for those who were not with us. We enjoyed the moment in spirit for Andisiwe Sibindi, Ayanda Keswa who we had left behind in Bulawayo and Justin Walley who had travelled ahead of us.

The night was swift and quiet, the traffic low, the siren was wailing and the lights flicking as we approached the airport the experience was even more fulfilling and exhilarating this was it, we were now going to our first ever world football cup. This meant the world to us.
