i tried to get my thoughts posted at the arena but the connection was bad. here they are:
- Tatum will inevitably shoot better but that was horrendous. playmaking elite tho.
- Uncle PG can still go.
- Payton 1000% needs to start and why in the hell did Joe not get him on the floor sooner in the 4th?
- team seemed so good with Mitch on the court.
- defense looked elite for stretches, consistency will build over time.
- Joe… lock in.
it’s 1 of 82. there was a lot of good to build on.

Paul George has LOVED his experience in Boston so far: "It's been short, but first impression has been everything. It's been a first-class organization top to bottom. It's been a great stop for me and my family, and we're looking forward to what's ahead."

NBA opens its season Tuesday afternoon. Celtics vs Pistons. Jayson Tatum is hugely popular in Europe, and the afternoon tip puts the game in European primetime. Don't be surprised if this becomes one of the most watched NBA games ever worldwide.
