Britain’s gold-plated public sector pensions bill is on course to hit a record £60bn next year, yet is almost entirely ignored in favour of calls to cut the state pension on which many low income retired people depend. dailysceptic.org/2026/10/22/…

Owen Jones came on Triggernometry. After being given lots of speaking time, he was asked a few probing questions and immediately turned the conversation into a gotcha style debate. This naturally resulted in him being destroyed with facts and lots of people on the internet laughing at him.
Now he is so butthurt, he spends his days posting videos no one watches about how he was right about everything. While having me and Francis blocked.
Loser energy.

😳 Tommy Robinson voicemail played in court: “I’ll make you famous and your families like you’ve done to mine”
Tommy: “If it’s fair game, then I’m a journalist. I’m going to cover you and your families like you’ve just done to mine. You put pictures of innocent people you know are my kids and you’ve given their locations. If that’s legitimate journalism, then expect me to come knocking. I’ve already located every one of you. I’ve got pictures of every one of you that can go in my story. I’m not threatening you with violence or anything like that. What I’m promising you is I’ll make you famous, and your families, because that’s what you’ve done to me.”
Why is Tommy Robinson on trial for harassment when he was simply telling the journalist he would treat him and his family the same way the Mail had already treated him and his children? The journalist published pictures and location details about his family holiday. He responded by saying he would do the same in return. Yet he is the one standing trial. Absolutely ridiculous.
Once again it proves the system is corrupt and they just want Tommy locked up and silenced.

Dan - your arguments are basically: “When people I agree with break the law to take down someone I disagree with that’s ok, but if the people I don’t agree with ask for the law to be upheld and implemented equally, that’s not ok”.
So Dan - We would all be interested in hearing what your take is on:
Martin Bashir, when he fabricated alarming stories to gain Princess Diana’s trust, including false claims that her life was in danger, that she was being "taken out," and that members of the royal household were leaking information or plotting against her? Was that a ‘Breach of Rules’ as the subsequent inquiry found?
What about the multiple News of the World phone hacking investigations of voicemail interceptions. Was this a breach of the rules or public interest?
These are just a couple of examples where journalists believed their illegal activities warranted public interest exposures - yet subsequent inquiries found against them.
So Dan - You either agree with equality under the law or you don’t. Identity politics is destroying this country and people like you believe yourself to be righteous and holier than thou is exactly what’s wrong with our country.
Try picking a lane and staying in it - your hypocrisy is beyond comprehension.

The start of recreational marijuana sales in Ohio was associated with large reductions in property crime and overall serious crime, with no increase in violent crime, according to a study published today in the Journal of Criminal Justice. themarijuanaherald.com/2026/…

OK. So let me use another example. If a journalist hacked a phone as a way of getting information would that also be a criminal offence.
Or if a journalist used deceit and forged documents to win the trust of oh let’s say Princess Diana would that be acceptable to you, Dan?

Claire Fox well and truly put Stella Creasy in her place during a fiery clash on Politics Live.
Stella was doing the usual thing of virtue-signalling and accusing others of dog-whistling simply for suggesting the riots in France might have something to do with immigration and a lack of integration. Not the whole story, but a real part of it. Claire gave her both barrels.
Stella claimed: “You are denigrating a community like mine where we have a diverse community.”
Claire pointed out that she has actually read a wide range of French media to understand what is happening. Stella was citing Le Monde. Claire noted that is the equivalent of a British commentator citing only the Guardian.
There is a serious conversation to be had about what is happening in France, Claire said. Young people there appear not to care about the country. They happily smash it up and destroy historic buildings. It is not only about immigration, she made clear, but to claim there is no element of this connected to immigration and the lack of integration of young immigrants is simply missing the point.
If we are going to have a frank and open discussion, she argued, you must at least acknowledge that it is complicated and that there is a massive argument underway among people on many sides.
Claire then told Stella she clearly had no real grasp of the debate because she had only read Le Monde rather than a broad range of French commentators on the left and the right. Stella claimed she had. Claire replied that in that case she would know that many French voices have said the lack of integration of many migrant communities has contributed to this.
Stella just sat there smug, sniping dismissively.
Claire finished by saying that the idea you cannot understand there are tensions in this country around the lack of integration in some migrant communities would be a serious mistake.
Well said, @Fox_Claire. This is the reality. Politicians like Stella who stick their heads in the sand and attack anyone who raises these very real problems do tremendous harm. What is happening in France could happen here. The problem is growing in this country, not getting better.
These conversations need to happen.

How very clever you think you are, sweetheart.
A £5m gift, declared late, the story changed, an aide on tape. One almost applauds. You have found a puddle, Bridget, and called it a sea.
But we do not judge the house by the doormat.
Your party took £5.5m from Dale Vince. His green companies helped themselves to £110m in taxpayer subsidies and £3.5m in City Hall contracts. That is not a donation. That is a dividend.
And the resignations. Your last Prime Minister resigned. Your last Deputy Prime Minister resigned over £40,000 of unpaid stamp duty. Your last Chancellor was sacked. Three of them, one parliament, and you wave a cheque.
Reform have a gift under investigation. Labour have a revolving door and a donor with a contract. One hardly knows which to pity first.
You are up to your neck as well, Bridget. You merely call yours funding.
Run along now, hunny. We shall not kick a gasping thing.
Cope harder.

Why Is Marijuana Regulated More Strictly Than Alcohol, Even Though It Is Safer To Use?
First, alcohol is a much more deadly intoxicant than cannabis. Full stop. It’s worth wondering out loud whether alcohol and cannabis should have the same regulatory regime. Under the existing legal cannabis industry, there have been zero reported deaths from legal cannabis use. The same is not true of alcohol use.
