Replying to @Tesla
@Tesla FSD 14.3.2 is rough; hope 14.3.3 comes soon and improves behavior. Driving with FSD 99% and living it. But the move from 14.3.1 to 14.3.2 was a step back for me as a user. Still feel safe but intervening 2 or 3 times almost every short trip

Regression Areas: Drive Quality and Navigation. Drive Quality: - wandering in highway lane as if buffeted by wind - last minute (<100 feet) lane change for exit - indecision leads to wheel wiggle - brake stabbing is back (not terrible)

Navigation: - ignores painted lane markings (left turn in straight lane; straight in left turn lane) - left turn into cul de sac instead of proper street 10’ later - left turn on wrong street, 10’ past correct street - left turn inside parking lot instead of exit street 10’ on

Wow. Every day the Trump administration tells another brazen lie (or ten lies)! I’m coming out of my defensive shell. We have to let those who are in the front of resistance know that we are behind them. I never used this forum for anything political. That changes now ✊

That doesn’t mean I fall in line with everything. And sure, I am virtue signaling. But if that signal encourages those who can do something - makes them feel less lonely - than here I am.

Bob Gottlieb, the GOAT of editors, on a first principle that we code reviewers must also hold dear: “Editing is intelligent and sympathetic reaction to the text and to what the author is trying to accomplish,”

Gottlieb explains. “When you try to change something into something that it isn’t, rather than make it better at what it is, tragedy lurks.” As Gottlieb sees it, editing is a service job. “It’s not your book. “

RIP Fredrick Brooks. Just learned he died on Thursday. May have written the most important (mercifully short) book a manager can ever read - The Mythical Man Month. Say it with me: you can’t solve a problem by throwing people at it. I’m going to re-read it now.

Always think of @timheuer when I arrive at airport 40 min before departure. Still have 20 minutes before boarding. Got here too soon! He He.

For an inveterate Star Wars “hater”, an SW themed hotel sounds like a sleepless night! Like the time you arranged a guest room for me with Star Wars sheets and wall to wall action figures staring at me!
You’ve worked at Disney and worked at Microsoft and loved both. What are your favorite differences.
Tesla phantom drain of 17 mile per day! Car left at airport with 200+ mile; 82 left at pickup. 195 Sentry reports didn’t help. Next time turning that off. Any other tips.
