Pleased to share our new paper in eLife, "Alcohol Attenuates CRF-Induced Excitatory Effects from the Extended Amygdala to Dorsostriatal Cholinergic Interneurons." This paper shows that CRF enhances striatal CIN activity via CRFR1, and that this effect is disrupted by alcohol.
