Ronaldinho Gaucho 🗣️: "I remember the first day Messi trained with us in the first team, he was playing for Barcelona B. We had heard about his story and how he came to Barcelona with his father, but we didn't know much about his talent. I tested him on his dribbling and his surprise. He dribbled past all the defenders in the first team until they started looking at each other. Then Giovanni came to me and said, "This young man deserves to be in the first team." Xavi also said to me, "If this young man plays for the first team, your place is in danger, Ronnie." I answered him and said, "This young man will be better than me, I promise you." Messi showed signs of being the best in the future. The way he played, the way he dribbled, the way he moved. I didn't even see that in myself at his age, and that's what happened. He shone until the world talked about him and forgot Ronaldinho's name in Barcelona. But I was happy for him and proud of him because he considered me a teacher, but in reality I was his student
