Many of our autumnal leaves have dropped after the storms, but it is a beautiful day for walking here in Wotton under Edge, and a good day to do some leaf-peeping! 🥾🚶♀️🌤️🍂
Apparently, leaf-peeping – or momijigari as it is called in Japan – is becoming more of a staple in British life. Are you enjoying the turning of the seasons?

📢 After months of mapping & verifying, we can now reveal that together we have discovered a MASSIVE total of 49,138 miles of historic paths that could be lost forever in in England & Wales 📢
That's enough to go round the world TWICE 🌍
Help us save them before it's too late!

Don’t take for granted that your favourite path is safe! I was given the chance to illustrate why it’s so important to check the definitive map. There’s still time to correct errors & omissions before the 2026 cut off #DontLoseYourWay @RamblersGB @openspacessoc @BritishHorse 🏇🏻🚴 – at South West, England
We are still planning for the walking festival 14th to 17th May though we are following news and guidance at this time.
Cheltenham MP Alex Chalk's told @BBCGlos he backs the Government's approach to tackling #coronavirusuk. He says timing 'has to be right' for stronger measures. The MP is himself self-isolating after contact with a colleague with the virus.
