Something I witnessed yesterday has been disturbing me ever since.
There was a physically challenged man in my former street who abused his wife constantly. They had four children, and this woman was extremely calm. I personally witnessed their fights several times sometimes on my way to work, neighbours would gather because of how intense it was.
Eventually, they fought again, and the woman died.
I assumed the matter had been handed over to the police. Then yesterday, I saw this same man holding hands with another woman like life had simply moved on and both of them were laughing unbotherad.
I called the street chairman, and I was told they didn't hand him over to the police because of the children. They decided to let the matter slide apparently the girl is an orphan.
This is the hypocrisy that gets me 😡
We scream “justice” when it’s convenient, but when a woman d!es after years of alleged domestic abuse, suddenly everyone remembers the children.
What about the children who have to grow up without their mother?
What message are we sending when the alleged abuser gets to move on while the woman who lost her life gets forgotten?
Do you think they made the right call not arresting him?
Sometimes it's not about the sex but the peace,love & respect you found in the person
Women needs to understand some of there attitude and behavior after Marriage/child birth are actually pushing there husband out and making him find solace & comfort from another woman
