Meet your new congresswoman Aisha Wahab who chaired Public Safety in California and made it easier for adults to solicit 16 and 17 year olds for sex.
As Chair of California’s Senate Public Safety Committee she took a bill that made it a straight prison felony for an adult to solicit a minor for sex. The author wrote it to cover every child under 18. Wahab’s committee rewrote it. The hard felony was reserved for 15 and under, or for cases where prosecutors could also prove trafficking. Buying sex from a 16 or 17 year old could be charged as a wobbler. That means a misdemeanor. That means a fine. That means a man with a lawyer can prey on a junior in high school and never see a state prison cell.
The author, Senator Shannon Grove, rejected her own bill after the rewrite and said the committee had decided 16 and 17 year olds “did not matter.” Assembly Leader James Gallagher was blunter. He said committee Democrats had sent the message that it was “no big deal to participate in the trafficking of a 16 year old.”
That is not a tweet from a PAC. That is the authors of the child-protection bill describing what she did with the chairmanship.
She used the same committee to dodge fentanyl families. Alexandra’s Law did one thing. It required a written warning to convicted fentanyl dealers that if they sold a dose that killed someone they could be charged with homicide. Grieving parents packed her hearing. Wahab and two colleagues did not vote. The bill died anyway and they never had to put “no” on the board. Parents left in tears. She kept a clean sheet.
Then Eric Swalwell imploded and the seat opened. Democratic leaders asked her to stand down so the district would not sit empty. Zoe Lofgren says Wahab’s answer was, “What’s in it for me?” Lofgren put it on camera and said it made her question Wahab’s fitness for the House. Wahab took the race anyway. She is now the member of Congress from CA-14 because the last one collapsed and she refused to wait.
Ask her about Israel and she does not hedge. At an Indivisible forum she was asked if Israel committed genocide in Gaza. She said yes. On Hasan Piker’s stream she said she would end all U.S. military aid to Israel and would have voted for the Stop the Bombs Act. She was one of three state senators to vote against pulling funds from campuses that ignore antisemitism. Then she told voters she works well with the Jewish community.
This is the file she wants buried under “first Afghan American” and “foster care to Congress.”

Aisha Wahab tried to write Indian hierarchy into California law. Her own voters in Fremont told her it would target them. She did it anyway.
Caste is the old system from India that ranks people by birth. Higher castes on top. Lower castes, including Dalits, treated as inferior. It has followed some families to America through marriage, jobs, and temples. Wahab’s bill, SB 403, would have added “caste” as a protected class in California civil rights and employment law. Hindu and Indian-American groups said that turns an entire community into suspects every time someone complains. Employers and schools would have to investigate people’s ancestry and family background.
Fremont has one of the largest Indian-American populations in the country. They said the bill profiled them. She passed it through the Senate and Assembly anyway. Governor Gavin Newsom vetoed it and said existing law already covers ancestry discrimination. After the veto, people who had just voted for her in Fremont started talking about a recall.
California’s 14th District has more than 42,000 registered Indian-American voters. She spent her time in the state Senate trying to put their families under a special microscope for a bill her own governor killed. She will call it civil rights. The people who live there called it targeting. – at Fremont, CA

It’s worse, democrats have a Taliban lobbyist already seated in Congress, Aisha Wahab
Aisha Wahab looked at an empty House seat and asked what was in it for her.
Eric Swalwell resigned in a sex scandal and left California’s 14th District with no one in Congress. Democratic leaders asked Wahab to wait so the district would not sit vacant through a long special election. Rep. Zoe Lofgren, chair of the California Democratic delegation, says Wahab’s answer to her and her staff was “What’s in it for me?”
Lofgren released a video explaining why she would not support Wahab. She said that answer “caused me to question her fitness for service in the House.” A senior Democrat, on camera, said the woman now in Congress is not fit for the job. – at Hayward, CA
A member who asks what she gets when the seat is empty will ask it on every vote that does not raise her profile. Lofgren already said she is unfit. WahabFiles.com has the tape. Vote Aisha Wahab out by November 3. – at Fremont, CA
Aisha Wahab chaired the California Senate committee that decides whether new homes get built. She tried to stop the bill that would have built them.
The proposal was simple. Let cities approve more apartments near train and bus lines, the change that actually increases supply and gives rents a place to fall. Wahab labeled it a sweetheart deal and a giveaway to developers. She argued that moving forward without heavy affordable-housing mandates would worsen segregation. She had a report prepared that urged her committee to vote the bill down. Her fellow Democrats then overruled her and sent it forward.
Losing your own committee is not a stand for tenants. It is a chair using her position against the housing. Once she was overridden she supported a revised version and described the outcome as an improvement she had secured. What the timeline shows is that she worked to block it.
Her alternative was a study. The bill she advanced sketched 1.4 million units of social housing that remain on paper, owned by government or nonprofits, kept off the private market, with rents fixed as a share of income. A study produces a document. It does not produce an apartment in Hayward or a lower rent in Fremont.
Residents here already face some of the highest housing costs in the country. The senator who controlled the housing committee used that authority to slow the measure that adds homes and to offer a study in its place. A member who blocked supply in Sacramento will block it in Washington. – at Hayward, CA

Aisha Wahab wants to abolish ICE. Her father told supporters to call ICE on her opponent. She still will not say he was wrong.
Tawab Wahab, the man she calls her adoptive father, wrote it in public. “Call ICE on the Mexican girl she don’t belong here.” Then he said this country belongs to “higher people, not a fruit picker’s daughter,” that they do not want a congresswoman from Mexico, and that it was time to send Mexicans back. The woman he was talking about is Melissa Hernandez. Daughter of migrant farmworkers. First Latina mayor of Dublin. The Democrat Wahab has to beat on November 3.
Rep. Linda Sánchez asked the only question that matters. Did her father call for Hernandez to be deported? Rep. Zoe Lofgren called the comments racist, plain and simple, and said Wahab must denounce them. Alameda County Supervisor Elisa Márquez called calling ICE on a Latina elected official a threat.
Wahab would not say he was wrong. The account had her father’s name. The photo matched the man she once called her biggest cheerleader. She offered statements. She did not offer a condemnation.
She campaigns on killing ICE. Her own father tried to aim it at the Latina running against her. When her own party told her to disown it, she refused. A member of Congress who will not condemn a call to deport her opponent will not stand up for this district when it costs her something. – at Fremont, CA

Aisha Wahab was confronted on a debate stage over her call for America to have a relationship with the Taliban, and instead of taking it back, she doubled down.
Melissa Hernandez said what Wahab hoped the district would never hear. “I’m an honest person in terms of not having communications with the Taliban like my opponent.”
She told voters to look it up. The tape exists. On Democracy Now, Wahab said the United States should keep “having a relationship” with whoever is running Kabul. Whoever is running Kabul is the Taliban.
She had the microphone. She could have said she was wrong. She instead chose to call it hate. She said the district was “disgusted” by “these types of hate.” She wrapped a terror regime in a diversity speech and never said the only sentence that mattered. America does not negotiate with terrorists who banned girls from school and spent twenty years killing American troops.
That is not clarification. She doubled down. Hernandez told the truth. Wahab attacked her for telling it. – at Dublin, CA

Aisha Wahab is facing a criminal referral asking the Alameda County DA to investigate her for laundering corporate cash into her race for Congress.
She abandoned the state senate race and left the account open so the banned money could keep moving. That is the scam. A state committee can take corporate checks. A campaign for Congress cannot. She left the dead account alive, filled it with money she was not allowed to use, and sent it to the Alameda County Democratic Party to spend on her congressional race. On May 5 that committee gave the party $60,000. On May 14 it paid her mail printer $37,177 for that same congressional race. On June 24 it sent another $5,000 while the party was already campaigning to put her in Congress. The letter puts the total at $102,177.
Supervisor Nate Miley filed a verified complaint with the Federal Election Commission. TJ Singh signed the letter demanding the DA open a case. Wahab signed the reports on May 20 and July 15 under penalty of perjury, certifying filings for an office she was not running for. In California that is a felony if she knew.
Singh said the part her party will not. “If I did this, I would be investigated. If you did this, you would be investigated. A candidate for Congress should not get a free pass.” – at Dublin, CA
Aisha Wahab bought a congressional seat with a dead campaign and a party cutout. She must be investigated. WahabFiles.com has the proof. November 3 is not a pardon. – at Hayward, CA
California Congresswoman Aisha Wahab took disgraced Eric Swalwell’s seat and used her first national interview to lobby for the Taliban.
Six days after she won, she went on Democracy Now and asked the United States to open a relationship with whoever is running Kabul. Whoever is running Kabul is the Taliban. She said America should practice diplomacy “regardless of which group is in power,” keep “having a relationship,” and try to steer them. Then she said the quiet part. Afghanistan has resources, and the United States needs to partner with them and sign contracts. Both of Wahab’s parents were born in Afghanistan. America took that family in. She paid it back by asking Washington to sit down with the regime her parents fled a war to escape.
The men she wants at the table banned girls from school, beat women off the street, and spent twenty years killing American troops. She called that a government you do business with. She called the Afghans who fought them failed warlords. Recognition for the victors. A shrug for the dead.
Afghans who fled that regime, including people in her own district, condemned her. Kabul’s outlets treated the interview like a gift. She did not take it back.
She was sworn in to represent California’s 14th District. She spoke like she represents Afghanistan. Hayward is not Kabul. Fremont did not send a lobbyist for the Islamic Emirate to Washington. – at Fremont, CA

Congresswoman Aisha Wahab took Eric Swalwell’s seat in California’s 14th District. File 1 was the child sex bill. File 2 is the room full of parents she would not face.
Fentanyl was already killing kids in California. A bill called Alexandra’s Law asked for one thing. If you get convicted of dealing fentanyl, the court reads you a warning. If you sell a dose that kills someone after that, you can be charged with homicide.
That is not a life sentence. That is a piece of paper and a consequence.
The hearing was packed with mothers and fathers who had already buried their children. They showed up to watch the Public Safety Chair do the minimum.
Wahab did not vote yes. She did not vote no. She sat it out with two other Democrats so the bill would die and her name would never appear next to the word “no.” The parents walked out in tears. She walked out with a clean roll call.
That is File 2. She ran the committee that was supposed to deal with dealers. When the families came, she hid in an abstention.
She is in Congress now. The parents are still without their kids. Vote her out by November 3. – at Fremont, CA

Aisha Wahab took Eric Swalwell’s seat in California’s 14th District. Most people have no idea what she did to 16 and 17 year old children before she got there.
A bill came to her that said an adult who tries to buy sex from a 16 or 17 year old should go to prison. She disagreed and changed it.
After her version, that crime would be treated like a slap on the wrist. A prosecutor could charge it as a misdemeanor. A fine. No jail time whatsoever.
The senator who wrote the original bill said Wahab’s rewrite sent the message that 16 and 17 year olds “did not matter.”
Another legislative leader said her committee made it sound like buying sex from a 16 year old was “no big deal.”
Aisha Wahab doesn’t care about your children. She doesn’t even care about this country.
