As we enter the 1st week of school & preseason games, here is another friendly reminder of the new @HernandoSchools bag procedures for all athletic events. We appreciate your cooperation as we continue to strive to create the BEST & the safest interscholastic athletic experience.

More specific info on EKG screening dates and locations will be coming out in the coming days and weeks. @HernandoSchools @CHS_BearsAD @Springstead_Ath @WWHSHORNETSPORT @NCTAthletics @leopardsath

We are proud & excited to partner with @WHOWEPLAYFOR (WWPF) to support our families w/ this latest state requirement. WWPF has already been administering & reading EKGs for student-athletes for several years in other Florida counties such as Volusia & Seminole with great success.

Parents, Guardians & Student-Athletes please take a moment to review and familiarize yourselves with the new @FHSAA EKG requirement. The new FHSAA EL1 EKG form is in the link below. This goes into effect for all 26’-27’ student-athlete registrations. fhsaa.com/documents/2026/2/1…
